    • We do not tolerate any harassment that a player can truly have their gaming experience ruined from.
  • Excessive swearing is not allowed.
    • We acknowledge that people need to express themselves in certain ways and that profanity may be one of those ways but we ask that you keep it under control.
  • Impersonating a staff member is not allowed.
    • If you are seen attempting to impersonate a staff member for any reason, the punishment will be severe.

    • You are not allowed to buy or sell rewards earned through mastering a skill.
    • You cannot trade, steal or trick a player out of their skill reward.
    • If you loot a players house, you cannot take their skill rewards, regardless of their carelessness.
    • If you find a bug, report it immediately!
    • Abuse of any bug will result in a loss of the player’s account.
  • You are only allowed to own one account.
    • If you’re on a shared connection please notify staff by paging.
  • When you choose a name, please use common sense.
    • Using any “leet” spelling may result in your name being changed without your consent.
    • You are not allowed to have the same name as a staff member.
  • Do not ruin or interfere with any player’s roleplay.
    • You do not have to roleplay or play along if you do not wish to do so but we ask that you respect their way of playing the same way you want others to respect yours.
  • We ask that you behave and act civilized.
    • We ask this so that no other players are offended or their experience isn’t ruined. This includes but is not limited to excessive swearing.
    • This isn’t a rule we directly enforce, unless things get out of hand, but we want everyone to enjoy the time they spend here.
  • Advertising for other shards is not allowed.
    • Please don’t do this.  Other shards would not appreciate it done to them, so don’t do it here.
  • Auto-cutting corpses is not allowed.
  • Luring vendors to your house is not allowed.
    • While this is next to impossible, please don’t even try.
  • Revealing a staff’s mortal character is not allowed.
    • Staff members who decide to play have the choice to let players know if they choose to do so.
    • We encourage staff to have an active player account to help them stay in touch with our world.
  • Players must follow all rules declared at any type of events.
    • Please listen carefully to staff or announcements before or during an event.
  • Selling or trading donation items is not allowed
  • Looting guildhouses is not allowed. Regular house looting is allowed though.
  • When using the chat system “.c” or when typing in our web chat please speak English
    • This so everyone will understand. Also, some languages just display as ???? in game.

We ask everyone to use their common sense.

Staff members always have the last word.

Forum Rules

  • No harassing! Your post will be deleted and your account may be suspended.
    • If you must flame each other, keep it strictly in the Off Topic section.
    • If you are making a flame-type post in the Off Topic section, please keep the title clean.
  • Please post in the appropriate section.
    • Most times we will correct any mistakes but do not make this a habit.
    • Posts in the wrong sections risk being deleted.
  • Again: Advertising for other shards is not allowed.
    • Doing so may result in punishment on your player as well as your forum account.

Role-play Rules

  • Do not refer to real life situations.
    • This includes exchanging out of game personal information about yourself
      • You can use party or guild chat for this as well as private messages
  • Using abbreviations of any sort is strictly prohibited.
    • The use of “faces” falls under this rule as it is an abbreviation of emotions.
  • Whenever a race or trait of any kind is being role-played, the facts of the role-play must never be broken
    • If a player chooses to play the role of a murderous villain who lives his life to slaughter everyone he meets, it would not make sense for him to be helping any other person.  Likewise, if someone was to play the role of a holy man who lives for the good of the people, this person cannot kill for any reason.
      • These situations and definitions of ones background purely depend on the story they are to follow.  Clearing up any uncertainties in ones story can prevent misunderstandings and common issues that may occur.  If a holy man wants to kill, it should be included in his story that he wishes to purge the world of evil.
  • If a guild is role-playing, the guild master will be held accountable for the actions of their members.
    • This rule only applies if the guild master does not require their guild members to write their own background story.
    • If a guild master fails to keep their guild members from breaking character, the entire guild is subject to lose all rewards.
  • Plagiarism is strictly forbidden.
    • If anyone submits a story they do not have the rights to use, that person will be jailed for a minimum of one week and additionally lose all rights to ever apply for role-play rewards ever again.
  • Breaking character is only allowed under the following conditions.
    • Speaking privately to a staff member.
    • Speaking in your own house or guild with guild members only.
    • If something is too hard to express through your role-play you can type it in brackets. Do not abuse this.
    • While using public chat, guild chat, party chat or private messages you do not need to speak in character.
    • If an event requires you to break character you may do so only at a staff members consent.  This almost never happens.
