Bowcrafters can create awesome weapons that allow you to attack from a distance.
Bows and crossbows will allow you to attack from a safe distance without letting your opponent land melee hits on you. This is very important if the monster you’re attacking is a big, beefy fellow who can crush your skull if he gets close.
A good companion skill for bowcrafting is Lumberjacking since it allows you to gather large numbers of logs, which you will need for raising your skill. Some bowcrafters will collect many feathers and shafts, then create a bunch of arrows at once without taking the time to pay attention to the details. However, the best way to raise your skill would be to create shafts, arrows and bolts one at a time, taking care to pore over the detail.
