Apparently they didn't like my very satirical thread about the new changes, so I'll make a legit one.

HOORAY FOR TEH NEW CHANGES, ALL HAIL LOKI

Can't wait to test them out myself

its how on my last server from old times it used to be called

now that armors will achieve more use with new patch, and that staff is working on loot system from what i read around the forum,
this may be a thing to add to the system if you like

on the other side (fringe fans will understand this word) they used to make a "tokuno event" once a year, where certain monsters in tokuno area has the % to drop these colors,
so for the rest of the year ppl are selling bottles for kk, or one use of a single color for about 200k, the bottles had like 20 charges or something near that. (for our economy here prices will be lower of course)

i think the "once a year" method is not a bid deal, but the staff here may rethink something better and adapted for this shard

a pro about this would be giving the choice to players to color different way their "sapphire armor" for exe. or just the chest, so that we are not wearing all the same blue armor on tourney maybe
but there will still be ppl I'm sure that will prefer to keep original color of it to let other see they have a full sapphire, thats ok, more choice then

and also, you can color your chain or leather as well with those pigments, shields, almost anything you can dress
its not a big improvement, just a little thing that can be considered to be added in a later moment, inside the loot changes you are working on perhaps

An Unlikely Alliance;

There is much activity in the worlds of both Virtue and Vice...
John Falstaff, the leader of Vanguard has been recruiting additional virtuous men and women to serve his cause, as well as gaining additional allies including the Dwarves, Dragon-Kin, and Elves of Yew. Unfortunately, not all share the same faith as he. All Virtuous groups alike have claimed their capital as Trinisic, here they will stand and protect it against the Vile forces of the Vice.

Little does Falstaff know.. an attack has occurred at the Vanguard compound, leaving it in a swarm of flames and short their scribe, Bartleby.

[Image: Screenshot2012-04-26at73056PM.png]

Two villains make haste and escort the scribe to a readied ship and sail away leaving no viable evidence. Books, Treasures, Furniture and the likes are all left, burnt to a crisp.

[Image: aaa.jpg]

Upon arriving at the pre-meditated destination, they throw Bartleby into a cell and prepare to question him. They plan on holding the scribe for ransom and to serve Falstaff and the rest of the Virtuous Groups a message.

[Image: threat.png]

Meanwhile, after a little food and well executed torture tactics, the scribe begins to cooperate and speaks.. He reveals only tidbits of information; the upcoming government of Trinsic, as well as the interest in The Crimson Brotherhood and its affiliated parties.

[Image: brotherhood.png]

It was suspected the Vanguard would have interest in such matters...but the two didn't know they were to take action so soon. This reassured the fact that they made the first preemptive strike at a grand hour. After some additional interrogation efforts, Bartleby grew silent. The two hooded individuals conversed with each other about warcrime worthy interrogation methods...they wanted more information and were willing to risk the ill publicity. While being distracted in banter, Bartleby makes a daring move. After being rushed, the two quickly counter-act the escape attempt and back him into a corner. Bartleby had no choice but to yield.

[Image: escapeattempt.png]

After the attempted escape, the two were getting ready to leave the scribe to rot in the cell and without hesitation Bartleby ensured there would be a rescue and that it is likely already in progress. Bartleby claimed Falstaff knew of the location, and this was true. The owner of the stronghold and King of Dragon-Kin gave John a grand tour in efforts to manipulate his keen sense of corruption. This gave him assurance that Falstaff trusted him, but Bartleby claims otherwise, and that his leader returned and marked a rune in preparation of a betrayal like this.

[Image: rescue.png]

Will Falstaff return to the dark compound in hopes of a rescue mission? Will he pay a ransom? Will he make the arsonists pay for their crimes? This is a test to see how far the Virtuous man will go to save one of his own. All Races, of Virtue and Vice alignment, must be prepared for what is to come.

Look I know staff are busy with real life stuff and the various projects they are working on for the shard but it really would be nice to see some more moderating going on on the forums and world chat. If all staff had some form of access to do this (or in the case of forums, they don't even need to be staff, just a trusted member) then it wouldn't be too hard to cover all times slots without creating serious amounts of work for one (or a small few) person.

There seems to be way to much arguing, negativity, raging etc.. going on and nothing gets done even though there are rules in place. It can't be good for attracting new people seeing such things.

to put it simply..

In the forums and word chat there is far too much..

- Flame wars
- Abusing people who disagree with you
- Arguing
- Too many threads on the same negative topic (these could be merged and/or deleted)
- General negativity
- Non-English world chat

and it's not just limited to those things, there are probably other things too. I don't know much on how the world chat works but in another thread there was talk about maybe adding in a squelch to it, but if that does happen is it actually going to be used or just go ignored like it is now. It would just be nice if these negative stuff where stopped before they reach the scale that they do and the rules where actually enforced because right now it seems they are just shrugged off and not worried about.

Why do we have rules if they are not enforced... Some simple things like locking or deleting posts on the forums could stop a lot of it, nothing wrong with a little healthy debating but the flat out arguing and flame wars is crazy. Not sure what can be done about chat, unless a squelch feature is in place or can be added (though would require more mods in the IN channel to to stop them just logging in there and continuing).

Hello!

I suggest that the BS armors (high end) should be upgraded abit, cause atm they are a hard to get but whearing then doesent help u at all... they should add alot more AR or "luck" , skill... etc.
Also it would be cool if more custom craftables to Tailoring, Bowcraft and Tinkering would be added. Cause its a pain to gm them but theres no real reward for the time u spent.
For third i think that the dyetubs should be nerfed, if they have 1,5k charges then they are actually worthless, the coloured clothers u get are worthless and the 300k u have spent is down the toilet. My suggestion is to rise prices and nerf the charges.
And as the final suggestion i would like to see some more custom items droped by monsters (items that have some worth) not just look fancy and arent worth anything so players would inspired to hunt alot more.
Oh, while i was writing this i came up with one more suggestion!
It would be nice if there were events for the non pvp croud also. Most of them "US" dont get to participate in event cause most of them are pvp based. If gms arent on then maybe something automated?

Thank you for your attention!

This is a script i fownd on this forum and modified to use magic arrow from your spellbook instead of MA scrolls, there are still some useless lines in that script but they dont do anything so i didnt bother to delete them.
Basicly all you need is to have Bandages and Sulfrous Ash in backpack. I hope this helps somebody.

PHP Code:
while #TRUE
{
  if (
#MANA >= 6 )

gosub CastMA

else

gosub Meditate

if ( #HITS < 64 )

gosub BandageSelf

if ( #HITS < 10 )

halt
}

MA  self
sub CastMA
  finditem CYL C_
#BACKPACKID

{

set %CastMana #MANA

set #LOBJECTID #FINDID

event macro 15 4
      target 15s
      event macro 23

while ( #MANA >= %CastMana )

{
      }
  }
return

Uses a bandage on yourself
sub BandageSelf
  finditem ZLF C

if ( #FINDCNT > 0 )

{

set #lObjectId #findId

event macro 17 0 ;last object
    target 15s
    event macro 23
    wait 50

}
return

sub Meditate
while ( #MANA < 95 )
{

event macro 13 46

if You_are_preoccupied in #journal

event macro 6 0

else

This just started happening to me this evening...

I see all the decoration and detail etc...
but for some reason I can't see mobs or npc's..

I was around mobs that were casting spells at me...
it was like they were invisible and I could see the spells make a list on the lower left hand side.

But the strange thing is I can see some mobs and some NPCs...

Any ideas?

I just downloaded the entire IN files the other day..
and I run on a mac.

The night started off with Pirate Lord Kander from (PoD), Halt from the (Rangers), Nate the (Daemon), Cristiana from the (Acolytes).
[Image: yarrrrrbmp.jpg]

We started off the night with a few drinks and telling a few tales getting to know each other.

After doing so Halt decided to cook us up some dinner. As a true pirate I showed no table manners!
[Image: ddfdgbmp.jpg]
[Image: fghsgshrbmp.jpg]
[Image: fgsfghsbmp.jpg]

We finished cleaning out his food storage and drinking more grog and decided to try our hands out at throwing knifes. Being a ranger Halt was very skilled but in true pirate form and a few more drinks Kander was able to show off with aim that could put a elf to shame using his bow.
[Image: fggasfbmp.jpg]

After showing off our knife throwing skills we had the lust for blood and action...... and more grog. So we found some fighting cocks and let them fight to the death!
[Image: fsgfhtbmp.jpg]

My fighting cock must have had poison in its feed since it died way to easy. I have a feeling a sneaky ranger had something to do with this. Har har.

Slurring my words I was able to talk the others into some dice rolling. And halt learned that you should never bet against a drunken pirate. I quickly won 20 silver coin and left him broke.
[Image: dddddbmp.jpg]

At last the night had to come to a end. We had good times and many laughs. I am sure we will have more to come.

Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!!!!
