It is very ironic that the first vendor in the player vendor search has Aa as the first letters so that they are first to appear in the list. The second thing I find funny about that vendor is it is the only vendor to have two names ...
If this player or gm named there vendor specifically I would also like to name mine as I highly doubt that player lucked out.(especially because he has First & Last name. How ever if I am wrong I am sorry for the accusation.

Can someone of higher power inquire about this ? as it would be a unfair advantage if he was named. Or if you don't think its unfair please come name mine with three A's.

Ok, gathering resources AFK is illegal, and that's fine.
But isn't the punishment becoming too hard? I left the room for 5 minutes and got killed, sent to that bridge thing and then sent to Minoc, where there's no reagent vendor so you can't teleport back where you were if you don't have reagents in your bank or don't want to spend 5k for 60 reagents per kind when you need a mandrake root, a black pearl and a blood moss. Isn't it possible to put a reagent vendor there, at least?

From my experience, these are the things that make players leave. I'm not saying that you should be able to raise BS in 5 minutes, but gathering 400k iron takes a while and when you make hard things impossible, that's when your shard gets empty.

I mentioned this previously in the general area but I thought it deserved a dedicated thread.

Based on what I am reading, everyone seems to more or less agree that currently there is a lack of order players/guilds on our shard, and that a better balance between chaos and order would make things more interesting. Some have pointed out that the reason for this is twofold: 1) chaos is more rewarding in terms of wealth accumulation and 2) chaos is more fun because you get to "create the action" instead of waiting to respond to an offense. While I don't think much can be done with respect to point 2 (after all, that is what distinguishes order from chaos), I believe increasing the potential rewards to order players could incentivize players to join order, thus creating a better balance between the two forces. My idea is to give order guilds the option to pledge to protect a given area (for instance a town or mine) and to be paid a periodic allowance in exchange for their service. The allowance should be big enough to partially compensate for the forgone revenue from PKing and looting. The order players receiving the allowance should not be allowed to collect bounties (just like cops IRL), because after all they are just carrying out their duty. The periodic allowance could be set periodically by the GMs to respond to changes in demand and offer of protection (higher if there is a strong demand, lower if there is too much offer). I am no UO expert, but this system should be fairly easy to implement. The next step of sophistication would be to finance the allowance with taxes raised from players utilizing/living in the protected area. This would be cool but probably difficult to implement and not necessary IMO to make the incentive system work.

My only concern is that neutral players may take advantage of this system by joining/forming an order guild just to be paid the monthly allowance and then not render any service. I am not sure there is an easy fix to this issue, the only thing that I can think of is that members of order guilds should be carefully selected and there should be severe sanctions for those who misbehave.

I am curious to see what people think.

Does anyone know how to make it so I dont have to single click everything for item information or description, instead i can just hover over an item and it says at cursor point. Like it was on OSI in the newer days where I had the eye, the arrow, and some other areas of which the item ID will be desplayed? Gets annoying having to click a bunch of weapons to see whats "what" all of the time. thank you.

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Just a thought.. I have been seeing the occasional person riding around on a MUstang or LLama but never anything... special or new...

Just an idea.. maybe we can think about adding new mount spawns.. perhaps Bonded Rides that can be ressurected and named. Not for PVP but simply for "Show". Ultima Online is part Fashion Show to quite a few players and I think it would do the Economy well to perhaps add some new colors and new types of rides in like Swamp Dragons, Ridgebacks... some cool looking colored mounts...

Also, If we want.. we can add Bond Deeds to Bond the Ride to the Owner so that the ride becomes a Gjost when it dies and can ONLY be ressed by the Owner as long as they have GM Veternary..

Just some stuff maybe we can piggy back off of but you get the picrure...

What do you guys think?

The slot stone, brett and goffy have been on it for 5 days straight now maybe set a rule to make it illegal to macro afk since it's kinda like afk resource gathering if you win the jackpot? and it's not letting others play the stone. They litterly take turns hunting and set a macro so nobody has a chance to win the 6-7 mil jackpot. it's been like this for 5 days now and echo told me to post this so finally I have.

question:

was the body autocorpse option distance changed? as well when you hit ctrl shift and click on two overlapped bodies only one opens was that changed as well? I remember they used to all open the bodies around it when you clicked on one of them. same thing applies with all names but its only opening one body for me :S


edit: disable blackwidow from duel stones, it was disabled on IN-X because it shoots and rarely misses and poisones players it's pretty cheap and almost unbeatable.. warmachine gained an RR weapon in the loot stone this way duno why it's enabled here it use to be disabled when vys tried it earlier on in the shard

I have noticed that once you have 100 at a skill, changing the stats of that skill by repeating it is MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCH slower than with skill gain!
What if i have all skills 100? wont i be able to change stats? <<< dont know if theres any way to change it fast now...

My suggestion is adding a stats stone.. where you could set your stats the way you want!
Add some penalty for changing them of course.. like a wait time unable to move! for example 10~20 minutes...
charge something for changing it like 10~20k...
