anyone else lagging lately? i mean it's not my connection ive been doing speed tests etc not lagging anywhere else just in game it's getting worse and worse as each day goes by :/
Hello,
Iam trying to get online with my imac but i cant get Razor on it.
Everytime when i set the patch etc it wont open any program.
So now iam trying to get online without Razor is that possible?
greetz
Just wanna say hello.
I am looking forward to staffing here on IN and hopefully do some events and quests in a near future.
If you have a idear for a quests please feel free to send me a PM and tell me about it. Wont promisse ill do it, but the more inspiration i get the more i can do.
See you all on the server
Ohh it´s true !!!
as title,
when you use scissors on a ress robe, it cut also the hairs of the char
Ok so after spending a few months ive gotten to the point with my crafting skills that i can make the higher end weapons. I like the slow skill gain so no complaints on that at all. The fact that ive spent upwards of 6 million worth of gold is fine with me.
Time to craft so useful stuff then? Nope not even close.
The quests for judgement hammer, hells halberd and likely also dwarven axe are freakishly hard for a single person, completely impossible for someone like me that wants to focus on crafting and not learn all the little tricks of the combat system.
I got through the Chu-ko-nu by cheating(google) since i had never heard of the things needed for that area.
The diamond katana second section is apparently random teleporters and after trial and error for an hour i gave up. If you want to do that put enough hints on signs in the room so its actually fun to do it, not just one endless frustrating pile of crap.
The special ingredients, Glowing Ingots and Flesh of the Undead, are placed on monsters that are very very difficult to kill. I never even got to the monster that drops flesh because the lead in rooms are nothing but suicidal and have monsters that can't be provoked.
I would very much like to see that these ingredients are made much much easier to get, basically to the point that flesh of the undead drops from Liches. Glowing Ingots should be drops from the elementals that spawn in mines. Same level should go for all the special ingredients for the crafted weapons, these are just the ones i know how to get.
Along side this a general reduction in normal ingredients would help bring down the prices for crafted weapons. Assuming i could get glowing ingots or undead flesh i would never sell a hammer or halberd for less than 100k with current cost of crafting.
Making pvp(and co-incidentally PvM) cheaper is good right?
Ehm... how i record is... i first say Bank it does work then i take our 3 iron ingot then dubble click my hammer on the ingot make dagger and then i say bank and put the dagger back in the bank. but i figured out, that even when i will take out the ingots it says in razor cant find item ingot and it wont drop it in my inventory so that means it will not take our the dagger aswell. anyone else tried this or anyone that can help me whit it?
Is there a cap on ore types for granite?
I can't seem to get anything over Dwarven, but I admit I have only spent about 6 hours of mining with my pick set to ore and stone.
EDIT: Also, I haven't seen Fire, and possibly some others I haven't really started taking full stock yet.
Yesterday I was in this PvM event in Wrong with my mate Benga, and noticed a few flaws in the system.
We did our part in wiping our the monsters in Wrong, but when the big boss was about to drop we got attacked by 5 - 7 prototypes and got walled out of the main room so that they would have the loot for themselves. The flaw I'm talking about here is that a PvM event should be the sole environment on a shard that allows blues/ reds/ newbs/ pros to hunt together and have a fair chance to gain some good loot (not mentioning the autoloot used on these events by some players).
If it is not a PvM then please do not give pplayers the impression it is so, name it a FFA with monsters or something. Right now you could compare this event with a 1v1 tourney where the top 8 get to fight in 1 arena for the top rank prizes (gank gank gank till only your guild is left and take all the prizes).
Just curious as to how other players think about this.
(Also: not being able to leave because the event gates are walled and a gank squad is waiting to take your loot is kind of annoying, since it is the only way out as you cannot recall inside. But ill leave that for a seperate thread)
Just wanted to publically thank Taran for creating the fizzle pvp arena and GM Helper for opening it again yesterday.
And loads of respect for Habibi for taking a beating like a boss .
I would like to ask if it could open more often; like once a day/ two days.
i think the mercenary camp was a good idea in theory and I know it's popular with a lot of players. But in my opinion it leeds to a more anti-social UO experience and it removes incentives for players to seek out other players, form guilds and train together. One of the things I've always liked about UO and why I still play this game is the social aspect of it. There are things you need to depend on other players for. Back in the day you needed to find other players if you wanted to train up melee skills and once you did you ended up forming social relationships with them in the game.
One thing I noticed here is that guild membership among the player base is lower than it should be. I've been following the status page and calculating guild membership and it's consistently around 50% of the player base that are in guilds. This is pretty low. Since players don't need to join guilds to train melee combat, they are either waiting longer or choosing not to join a guild at all.
As a GM of a guild I've found it very difficult to get players. Speaking to other GM's they have told me the same thing. One thing we are missing here are big guilds. Most of the guilds here are what you would call crews; 5 or 6 players that PvP together etc. These kinds of guilds are fine but i think every great server needs a couple big guilds that have a good influence over the server narrative. Otherwise i think the server will just become a bunch of guys lolzing and lmaoing and waiting for the next tournament to start.
