Hello everyone,
I just want to let you all know that I am quitting. I can not play with the kind of players that we are having here lately. This is not a rage quit or anything it is just that most people sooo inmature. You cant win at poker without being screamed at or being called a ****ing ****** runner!!
I have tried to be as polite as I can but people just tend to enjoy ****ing other peoples experience, freezing you, res/kill.
But well, some people enjoy that. I dont.
You help players to start and Ive spread AT LEAST 250k giving away 10k to every new player that asks for help but I get nothing in return, those same people calling me a ****** and many shits.
I gave my player to a personal friend that wanted to play so you may see him again running around.
I want to thank the guild Bandits, especially Lamby and Dogis who helped me when I started and I really enjoyed playing with you both.

Also, I want to congratulate Taran, Eru and the rest of the staff for all the work they have put into the server. It is indeed VERY nice and well balanced!

Sincerely,
Hiroshima

Hello, I just want to see if you would be willing to add the ability to your vendor to not only sell but to buy things. For example if I wanted iron ingots I could set it up to have my vendor pay 10gp per ingot. This would also require that you set up a second gold holding section so that someone cant get all your gold and make your vendor no longer work for you.

I know dragons and drakes cannot be tamed, but is there anything that can, which is actaully worth it as a "tank" for some PvM action?

My llama doesn't seem to do the job, so mabye someone knew of something out there worth getting and taking into battle Smile

Quenta non mysterium.
Those inhabiting the air.

[Air is a tangible atmosphere and intangible volatile substance that can be called ‘spiritual air’.]

From “The Sosarian Census of Population”. Date unknown.

Sylphs – a name given by human beings whose don’t understand the essence of us.

The genuine name of ours is Sylvesters.

If you ever meet us, you’ll be amazed by our long hair of lilac, turquoise and sometimes aquamarine.
Humans say that after our dances we leave beautiful circles of slightly flattened grass on meadows. They have legends that we are able of designing snowflakes and gathering clouds.
Our wings have only a decorative function, because we don’t really need them for flying. Winds are our equipages. Sometimes you can notice that air around you is vibrating – it’s us breathing behind your back.

Sylphs, nymphs and air elementals are kindred. But sylphs are way too humanized. We are friendly, sociable and curious about everything in this world. We are joyous, eccentric and our thoughts float permanently among the trees’ tops.
As human beings believe, every sylph has superpowers as levitation, invisibility and air element magic. Who knows… you can always try us.

As we are complete neutral to any controversy, or dispute, and often see no sense in causing harm, we don’t fight against any conscious being of this world.
There is a legend that sylphs live for a very long time and never grow old. They always stay young and beautiful.

I hope this is true.

From “The History of Britannia”, Volume IV, Chapter IX.

“In Ex Hur”, he whispered and disappeared in the night.
From the song “Additional Dreams” by Elia.

It is strange, but we can assure you that the Tribe of Sylphs sailed down from the North and instantly populated the town of Yew. There were very few people living there, so sylphs became a wonderful addition to the ‘woody’ people of Yew. They decorated the whole town and grew amazing forest in the area.

Through time, sylphs grew in population and began to settle everywhere on the continent. Through their restlessness they couldn’t find a single and only place to settle in, so they always travel and change one piece of land to another.

Sylphs are known for their yearning for healing the wounded and helping those uninitiated. They have ardour for music, theatre and arts, especially collective ones. Sometimes we can’t wholly understand this or that product of their arts, though they call it a rare masterpiece.

Sylphian names are carved on trees throughout the whole continent of Britannia, so we can say for sure that they are an essential part of our world.

First of all, nice job on it so far. So much easier than going around every vendor.

Suggestion: Have a way to exclude certain words from the search. If I want a vanquishing weapon but don't want it to be silver I could type in for example "vanquishing -silver" or something similar. It'd make this already great feature even more awesome Big Grin

So, I seem to remember there were odd spells you could cast on IN1. Like firebolt... hallucination... a few others I dont really remember.

That got me to thinking... how about some cool new spells that you must learn from quests and such? Perhaps release a new spell once every two weeks or something?

These spells would, of course, need to have no impact on pvp (which is already under scrutiny it seems). I like the idea of maybe spells that do the same damage as say... fireball or lightning bolt... but have a different animation, and perhaps have interesting perks in PvE.

**Examples**
Water Bolt:
A water orb that causes a splashing animation when it hits its target. Does the same damage as fireball but does substantially more damage to some creature type (like insects or something?)

Nightmare:
Evoke a nightmare upon the mind of your target, causing them to see all players and npcs as zombies.

Vine Grasp:
Call upon vines to grasp foes, holding them in place. Upon release, if the target is an NPC, it inflicts deadly poison. (it acts just like paralyze on players though).

Anyway, that sort of stuff. Just fun and whimsical spells. It could open up new RPs as well. Maybe a group of mages who dont use fire magic, so they use the water alternatives to FS and Explosion.

I know its a bit of an undertaking (new scripts lead to potential new bugs etc) but I was always fascinated by those strange spells that were in the "other" spell book on IN1.

Another point I wanted to add:

One of my favorite things about IN1 was how new things were released pretty regularly. I see that you guys still do this from time to time, but I think if you accelerated the rate of new additions to the game, even if they are small... that would be very exciting!

Things like a new tamable mustang hue, new craftable weapon or armor, new ore, new town, new quest, and new event pretty common place. These sorts of additions are signs of a vibrant shard and active staff, and will probably attract even more new players.

Anyway, enjoy reading that wall of text lol

OH and maybe its just because im busy macroing alchemy, but some "just for fun" potions or poisons would be cool too. Maybe a poison that if applied to food and eaten will turn the victim to a rat... or a potion that if drank turns you into a copy of the nearest player for a few seconds... etc Smile
