Hi,
Im kinda new at this server and i dont really know 100% how it works (some more guides about the "utility" of some skills would be appreciated, because depending on the server several skills may be functional or useless, but thats not what i want to speak about).
My point to this thread is the AFK gump, i never trully liked it but these are the rules and we all need to play according to them, i was investigating and found out that you can just create a razor macro to notify you about the afk gump when it proccs even if you are running UO on background and thats just GREAT, the only problem i got with this is the next:
I dont know why, but everytime i restart razor my macro AFK gump crashes, because the "play click button" line just dissapears, thats awful, cuz sometimes i get client crashes or even PC crashes and then i have to wait again for the gump to procc to be able to save the macro again and keep doing other things while mining in background.
For Example: Yesterday i was mining for a while, i wanted to watch a movie while i was mining but something happened. I was mining about 40~ min without getting a gump to save, then i finally got the gump, and a couple of minutes after recording the macro my client crashed, so i had to wait another 40~ min to get the procc again and save the macro. After doing that (about 2 hours mining just to save a macro) i just had to left and could not see my movie.
I dont know if this happens to anyone or just to me or if there is a way to correctly save the macro in razor (i guess not), but my suggestion is kinda simple, i suggest that when you start mining/lumber/etc after a while without gathering (lets say 30 min) or after connecting, the first time you gather you get an AFK gump, and then just the way they are right now. That would help people who get client crashes or just have a terrible bad luck with the gumps to record the macro without being hours waiting to that purpose.
pd- Or maybe adding a command to procc that gump, like .afk for instance, that would make much easier for gatherers to do their job.

Ok, so I know what to make for carpentry for a while, but for now, making about 200 clubs and then selling them is a pain, could some one make a macro so I don't have to go and directly click on all 200? It's getting annoying. I've done this twice today, I regret it. I just want to get my Carpentry up. :Rant:
There seems to be a trend in people going karma grey, provoking blues in town to attack them so they become grey and kill them. Though I'm not used to the concept of a criminal attacking a blue in GZ and not getting guard whacked, I don't have a problem with that, people need to pay attention.
In my opinion however, something is wrong when you chase someone with 4+ people for 5 minutes or more, FSing, paralyzing etc and the person is not dying, because a BLUE is healing him. With not being able to fizzle greater heal (so on the grey), and on top 1 or 2 blues running after him and healing him without turning grey it is near impossible to kill him, and when you do the BLUE resses him without turning grey...
Sooo I guess my suggestion comes down to:
Lets make blues who heal/ res greys grey.
Is there any reason to train up Lockpicking? People have chests bolted on their steps, those would be nice to get into, but if not that's okay I GUESS and it makes sense if house doors aren't pickable - But what about world spawn chests or in dungeons? Do they exist? Might they one day exist if not? I've poked around in the wilderness and many graveyards and haven't seen any, as far as dungeons, well, that'll be when I'm done training. Does treasure hunting involved locked chests?
Does having GM stealth/hiding (As opposed to lower skill level, like 50) have any effect on Detect Hidden? I have 40ish Detect Hidden and I've uncovered a lot of would-be gankers at the Brit Bridge but I don't know what their skill levels are in hiding and stealth. As it appears it seems that regardless of Detect Hidden skill level, I'm always uncovered by those training it via AFK macro (Although most players don't try to use it to find me when it comes to pvp, tee hee), and I'm currently at 100 hiding and nearly 75 stealth.
I think, in older days of Imagine Nation, Eval Intelligence gave boosts to spellcasting in some form. Not sure if I remember correctly. Does it still do so? Is there a benefit from GMing it? I assume Anatomy gives bonus melee damage and healing.
Does agility do anything in the game? I mean, I assume it makes you attack faster, or carry heavy stuff longer - but I'm also assuming it's useless atm since many PvPers just spam Clumsy in the hopes of removing your magic reflect, which means they don't care if it hits them.
And, finally, is there a reward for GMing every skill? I don't plan to, at the moment, I just want to know who I can label as officially insane (Or at least, anal-completionist)

It has been brought to my attention that the hits (Tactics) on weapomns have been fixed .. I can asure you 100% that they are the exact same as they were before they were "Fixed" therefore, I would like to propose a certain idea that can FIX this issue right away without having to fully tweak weapons...
Let's insert a 3 Hit Limiter to the PVP. This was something that we had on Xuo and it fixed the Hard Hitsd instantly! For those who have been in a duel against someone using a Hally and gets hit 70, 75, 80, 80, 80, 80, 80 and obviously can not counter because healing completely drains you of mana ... we can add in this 3 Hit (IN A ROW) limiter. This means ... if a player has their weapon on and gets 3 consecutive hits without re-equipping... they automatically miss 1 time. This forces players to use other spells such as lightning, fs and other spells. As it has already been brout up several times .. I think it is time to really pay this some serious attention as players Freak out everytime they die yelling "This PVP Sucks.. it's HIT HIT HIT HIT..."
.... I actually agree, I have never seen so many players get meleed in a PVP type as much as here and it's starting to get abit tiring to see people get hit 18 times in a row until they run out of mana..
I hope you guys can see my point in the matter and if you can not, please test it out. Equipe a Hally, Battle Axe or even a Bard... and hit someone over and over asking them to heal. They will be helpess... especially if your using a War Hammer which drains trhem to 0 stamina so they can't move and then ON TOP OF IT are hitting you 80, 85, 70, 50, 80, 75, 75, 75... If you are weaked... you're screwed..
Just want you guys to think about this 3 consecutive hit limiter as it will in fact help this type of PVP out A LOT! It will give new players a chance to be on the offensive and hit back instead of gettuing weapon raped every time they enter a tourny..
I hope you guys can see this as a benefit to the PVP...

Not sure how often the gump is suppose to come up for anti afk macroing but i have gotten to come up 3 times now within 30 minutes?
I have auto open doors on my razor turned on.
When i go through guild doors it says this door is locked, but if i double click door it send me through. I'm pretty sure it's not suppose to be like that.
Why can't you mark or recall there anymore?
