This may sound like a stupid question, but I have only played on player run shards on and off since 2001 so I am not very familiar with OSI Ultima and the releases since T2A.
I don't know how to get to Malas (I didn't really know what it was until now) so could someone please tell me?
Also, are there any other land-masses that I don't know of besides the Lost Lands (which is the T2A lands right?)

On the last XUO you could put fences around your house or between houses to make a complex or town.
Prices were 500 iron or logs per piece and you could only go like 5-6 tiles away from your house. You also had fences to get in or out, and you had to remember to lock them or someone could get in and mark a rune inside your fence to still gank you when you come out.
This is great for people in custom houses or the classic houses other then a castle since you have a protected area where you can teleport to and be safe.
Like the title said I know this is a subject of considerable debate and both sides are very much separated on it so please hear me out and staff let us discuss this a bit before turning the idea down 100% and closing the thread.
I want to see multiclienting allowed. Why? Because the advantages outweight the disadvantages.
Advantages
Server looks more active
While the amount of people playing has increased some the past few weeks, it's still not at a great count. Especially when it gets later in the day/night for North American players. I'm sure if you're up early and live in Russia or Europe you see it some too.
The count is also deceiving since a lot of people are AFK boosting the count so the server looks like there's more people on. In reality it's a much lower count and if you can have two accounts where you run around on one and macro on the other it actually makes the server look alive!
Lets people multitask
The last three weeks I've been playing all I've done is mine, sell the iron and train with the low ingots, or collect cotton and train tailoring. It's so long to do and just macroing every night is rather boring. And I'm doing it so I can afford to do other crafts like alchemy or inscription which I really want but just don't have the money for.
Not to mention the low profits on this - 30k gold off 5.6k ingots for daggers and 46k gold off 31k cloth in bandanas and HOURS AND HOURS spent mining or collecting cloth and then macroing.
It would be great if I could open another client to run around and do the quests on or to sit at brit bank or pits and talk with people. It was really fun having crazy conversations on anything you wanted to when you got tired of the regular stuff in UO. Hell maybe I'd even start to RP some if I could still have my macroing going at the same time.
Advantages/Disadvantages
People become more independant - Instead of all your time being spent crafting with the resources you buy you can now mine for yourself at the same time so there's less interaction between people. The good part of this is that not everyone wants to craft and harvest so there will still be some interaction, and at the same time it creates more competition between people crafting and selling resources, so the economy becomes more stable instead of out of proportion prices. See the example here 100k-200k for a vanq hally?!?! That's nuts!
Disadvantages
More 'fake' people - While the online count would be higher, there would still be lots of people afk or in remote locations macroing. Not much different from now though. At least this increases the chances of running into someone, even if they're afk it's still cool to run into people.

Are the spawn points of any of these common knowledge that can be shared? I would like to have a couple of these for my own but don't feel like I wanna pay for something that I just ride on.

How does one shrink down their animals? I forgot, its been awhile since I've played.

This CTF area is great, decorations really make it look cooler then the plain one we had on XUO. 3 things I want to comment on about it...
1) The hallway before the room with the flag is too short. People can run around it too fast to block the line of sight and can't be attacked. The hallway on XUO was much longer so people couldn't cast teleport, run around the corner so they aren't attacked, then run back just before the spell casts. This makes it REALLY hard to defend. I liked it much more how it was on XUO because this also made it harder for the attackers.
2) From what I can see when you die there's a long delay before you are automatically ressed so people have a chance to revive you. This is great and something we really wanted back on XUO, but I find the timer is too long. I think it should be reduced to like 10 seconds so you can get back in the fight faster. Or, once you leave the enemy's half you are automatically ressed and start back on your half.
3) Hiding. Why can't we hide? This was an awesome part of the CTF on XUO that I really miss. Was great for defending and also sneaking into the other base if people don't think to use detect hidden. Brings another challenge to the game too!
And don't anyone come and tell me this is INX now and not XUO so it doesn't have to be the same. I'm trying to make this event more fun, faster, and more challenging for those of us who like it and I want to see what other people think.

I started an RP character and so far it's very unrewarding. The RP section of the forums is really dead, and before I started my thread the last person who posted there was over 2 months ago.
This doesn't really attract people to come and RP here when it looks dead... Maybe the private RP sections should be closed so everyone has to post in the public RP section. Then people will see there is RP here and what quality level it is.

When I leave my computer on overnight (from about 11pm to 6am EST/GMT-5) to macro a skill every morning when I check on UO there's a text box in UO saying "Could not Connect" so from whatever point this happens until I wake up, I lose this time macroing. It's happened EVERY night this week.
I also left UO going for 2 days (6am to 5pm EST/GMT-5) and didn't get this problem. Is the server restarting at some point at night making me log out?
I thought it might be my antivirus killing UO at night, but scan times are set for once a week (Monday at 5pm) and I'm never home at that time so really it never happens. And it's not Windows Updates because this is set to ask me before downloading or installing anything.
It can't be any power saving options on my computer otherwise it would happen during the day too.
Tonight I was macroing blacksmithy and I got this box around 12:30am EST/GMT-5 (just after midnight, not middle of the day).
Any thoughts guys?

We need to do something about our current hardware. It's a crappy computer and the connection isn't very good over seas. The only reason we are still here is because the server is free. A new server will cost around $150 a month.
So I need your help. Below I will list a couple of IP's to different servers. Please ping them and post what your response time is along with your location.
I'd also like to know if you are willing to donate cash to get a better server and if so, how much money would you be willing to spend a month?
I don't really like the idea of getting dependant of donations, since if people stop donating we can't afford to keep the server and then we're screwed. But if 30 people donate only $5 a month then we're good.

I want to use the F1 as a macro but when I use it, the help menu pops up. I want to know how to disable this. Anybody know how?
