I just reinstalled UO but when I attempt to open it to patch itself an error message pops up saying

Quote:C:\Program Files\EA Games\Ultima Online 2D Client\UO.exe is not a valid Win32 application.

Does anyone know what could be causing this and how I can fix it?

Hello, im new on the shard and i try all time to make a better shard!

Post here what you think the IN need to raise the Player Base! Smile

In my opinion the shard have most everything good, craft/pvp/pvm etc..
Im not sure if the shard have or not Tongue
Example: Craft rare colors... or jewels +skill (rare)
is just one example heheh

I'm looking to change the design of the website a bit and was looking for feedback.

I don't like the black text on white background at *all*. I had a nice black and purple theme going, but Taran isn't manly enough to appreciate purple and crapped over himself changing it back to white. (hehe. I can say it because he's on Vacation)

I'm looking for feedback on color schemes, effects, etc to modify the theme. Pretty much anything you'd like to see happen; additions, changes, subtractions, etc.

I'd personally like to have it have a dark background with light text. Perhaps have the background color and image changed to better match the Imagine Nation theme.

I like the menus the way they are now but I'm thinking that the vote banners could be moved somewhere else so that the page display is wider; alternately, I'd like to fill in something besides just the vote buttons so that they aren't all by themselves.

I think the "Home" page needs to show a news feed that updates more often though... perhaps I can find a way to integrate it with vBulletin to automatically pull content from the Town Crier forum as news.

  [Resolved] Broken Quest

There is a quest that I am stuck in and cannot complete. Because of this I can't start new quests. The broken quest in question is the one that is given by the guy at the docks of Ocllo. The problem happens during a subquest of this larger quest. The subquest is given by the tinkerer's guild in Trinsic. The quest is to paint four monsters. But he only lists three of the four (the fourth space is blank). And so it is impossible to know what the fourth monster is and therefore impossible to complete the quest. I even ran around attempting to paint every monster I could think of but with no positive result.
Please help.

Moving this from the shoutbox

A lot of people are having problems with patching, then having the statics have problems after they patch.

To fix this, I'm wanting to create a fully-patched and working copy of UO that people can just download and unzip to their UO Directory, but we don't have enough space in the IN-UO dropbox to add it.

Here's how you can help us raise the amount of space (250MB per signup)

  • Go here: http://db.tt/HPWTi6r
  • Fill in the info for Create a Free Dropbox Account
  • Once the account is created, download the DropBox Client
  • Install the Client
  • Log into the client with the newly created account

That's it! You can keep using DropBox if you want, or you can just uninstall it after you're done.
