This is my "I've had it with these XUO children" thread. And I know I am not alone. I am constantly harassed by these CHILDREN for RPing. I can't count the times I've heard "LOL ****** LAWZ" coming from one of these kids. Seriously, I don't care if they do "own" me in a fight. I don't want it to be "LOL PWNED *****!" when I die.
It was never this bad on any IN shard. I'm not about to play on a L337 shard. I know a lot of people feel the same as me. I don't want to play with any of these children if they are going to act like some small boy trying to prove himself by swearing a lot and calling people ***s.

Can somone explain to me why this server seems to be following the trend in Society called Instant Gratification?

1.This server lets you Macro skills unattended without punishment.
A. not good enough we want to Macro gathering skills too.
2. This server doesn't let you gain skills fast enough
B. My Macro's take too long to do my work for me this is unacceptable
3. Regs and other consumables cost too much money it's unfair...
C. You expect me to gind for money and items please.
4. The monsters don't drop enough gold and loot
D. I need to be able to kill 5 monsters and build myself a castle

You see these things are not only making our world a Less enjoyable place but it has killed MMO's. I don't know about anyone else but i have had to work hard for everything i have in my life. I worked for my first computer my first car my first house. Yeah lots of times it sucked and lots of times it was Inane but after all that i enjoy everything i have so much more because of what i had to do to get it.

I understand that this is a game and should be played for enjoyment. I know sometimes grinding out a skill is annoying and boring but when it's over yuou can bask in the fact that you made the effort and you won.

Guess what some people in life can't put their nose to the grindstone and do things in life or in a game. Some people don't have the motivation or the Wherewithall to do certain things. All houses aren't equal all cars aren't equal all skills aren't equal and certainly all people aren't equal. The people who put in the time and the work are able to enjoy the results.

I realize some don't feel as i do and thats fine because i know in the end it's all about Numbers and how many people we can keep in the community. if anything all i am asking if for the GM/Devs To realize Easier is not always better.

Thanks,
Gen.Lutz

There has always been such a box in Britain (or at other starting locations, namely Trinsic), which is for people to leave thier un-needed stuff, like low level magical weapons to help new players. It would require a certain level of matureness from the playerbase, but it always worked on Imagine Nation, might work here as well.

Can we make it so that you can sell house back to NPC for same amount you bought it? It's not like that will in any way change economy.

I know theres a lot of threads talking about ping etc. but my problem is about somehow graphic lag. My comp isnt shit, it has way more than the prerequired and still, when i run with my Map open, i frame lag. When I run with a horse I get frame lag

I did a tracert
and it was between 13ms to 160 ms...

SO i really think the problem is graphics. But how the hell can I fix that ? There isnt video settings in this game except for Resolution...
and even at lowest resolution i still have the same problems

Would Ultima Online - Age of Shadows would be better ?

If you didn't already know, if you played on INR or the latest XUO version you will get your account transferred.

This post will explain how you transfer your character(s) and what you do if you forgot your username/password.
Please remember that you will only get your characters transferred if you played on the latest XUO server or IN:R.

Character transfers
First off you will have to create a new account on IN:X (your account details doesn't have to match the one you had on XUO or INR).
After that you will have to create a new character. What you name it isn't important since your name will be transferred. You will however need to choose two skills at 50% as your starting skills. More information about this under "Which skills will be transferred?" further down. And because Nasir forgot to add a check (:p) you will have to choose male or female depending on the character you want to transfer.

When you have successfully created your character and logged in you will have to use the command .importcharacter
This will bring up a gump where you have to enter your old username and password you had on XUO or INR. Note that the accountname and password is case sensitive.
When you press search and your details are correct you will be able to see what characters you can transfer.
Then you simply check the box of the character you want to import and press "Import Character". This will turn your current character into the one you imported, along with skills, name, bodyhue, stats, gold and a guild-deed (for XUO players that owned a guild). RP-guildowners on INR will have to page to get a guildstone. Important: This will overwrite all your skills and stats and is NOT REVERSIBLE and can only be done one time per character.

Done! You can now play with your imported character and train skills as usual. All your GM skills will have been set to 99.9 so you can get a reward automatically when you hit 100% (for the skills that rewards applies that is). If you have more characters you want to transfer you have to create a new character and repeat the step above.

Do not try to cheat the system, if you have more than two skills over 50% you will not be able to use the .importcharacter command. If we catch anyone trying to cheat the system all your accounts (new and old) will be removed.

If you forgot your username and/or password.
Many people will have forgotten their old usernames and passwords. If that is the case for you, you will have to e-mail me at [email protected]. Please state your accountname and character names and if you played on INR or XUO. This is also what I need from you:

If you remember your accountname but not your password this is what I need from you:
Your accountname and the estimated value of 5 skills you had on one of your character. This is to verify that you're actually the owner of the account.

If you forgot your username this is what I need from you:

The names of all characters on your account.
The estimated values of 10 skills you had on a character, again to verify that you're actually the owner of the account.

If you forgot what skills you had (which I doubt very much) you will have to proove in another way that you're the owner of the account.

When I have checked to make sure everything matches I will change your password and e-mail you back with the new one. Keep in mind that I will probably get a lot of e-mails and thus the response time might be a little long. If I haven't responded after 1 week you can e-mail me again though. And only e-mails, no PM's/MSN messages etc. please.

Oh, and if I catch you trying to get ahold of another person's account details you will be banned.

Which skills will be transferred?
This table is based on the percentage of your current skill. If your skill level is at 100, and the percentage is 80, then that means you will get a 80% transfer to IN:X. If your percentage is 70 and the transfer percentage is 80, then that means that your IN:X skill will be on 56%.

IN:R
Misc skills: Full transfers.
Magic combats: Full transfers.
Other Combats: 80%. If you select the skill as a starting (by setting it to 50% when you create a new character) it will be set to 100, if your skill exceeds 90 skill points.
Harvest: 60%. If you select the skill as a starting (by setting it to 50% when you create a new character) it will be set to 70, if your skill exceeds 90 skill points.
Craft: Full transfers.

XUO

Magic combats: Full transfers
Other Combats: 80%. If you select the skill as a starting (by setting it to 50% when you create a new character) it will be set to 100, if your skill exceeds 80 skill points.
