I'm just putting this out there because people have been urging a change in monster loot recently, and we all know Maka is overloaded with stuff to do around INX. Maybe the players can play a useful role.

There are multiple ways this could work, but in all cases players should report accurate statistics about what they have found from that monster after multiple killings.

- Players openly suggest changes in a constructive manner and comment on each other's suggestions. The staff will select what they think are good revisions to the system.

- 1 thread for each category of monsters (a list for each category would have to be compiled by staff) ranked 1-5 (or whatever) in increasing difficulty. Zombies and Mongbats would be rank 1, the most difficult dragons and whatever else rank 5. Custom mobs, like the one in destard that drops 10k would have to be considered separately.

Any other ideas are welcome. Lets see if we can actually be a part of a change we want to see instead of complaining about it.

OOC:

Hey guys, um, I have this problem, whenever I run on foot, walk on foot or walk on the back of a ride (eg horse/llama) I go normally.

However, when I start to run on the back of a ride I chunk out something cronic. Tabion said that changing from UOML to UOGold fixed it for him ... it didn't fix it for me.

I quickly knocked up a on-my-pc server and ran around and everything was fine, even with resdisp up to 5.

What I am wondering - how do I stop this problem? Has anyone else had it and fixed it?

Thanks,

I have read multiple posts concerning injection's functions, but none for setting it up. I cannot seem to get it to function properly.

Client Directory
Eagames/mondains/etc.

Server location:
Imagine-Nation
(The shard address)

Client
Client.exe from same directory.

Selected Configuration is
Ignition

Now I got it to run almost successfully using uo rice. I rechose my client as client 2 and used the outcome of UO Rice for the 2d client.

I also placed the checksum and length codes into the Ipatch.cfg file like it said on the homepage.

Then I get this error

Cannot find fonts.mul

That is horse shit
The gump loads and everything but the game will not.

I've seen a billion of these posts asking how should I macro a certain skill, so I decided to make a post so everyone understands.

Skill gain is base on repetition so the more you do something the more chance you have in gaining a skill.

Crafts - make the easier, cheapest item that costs the least resources.
eg. blacksmith - daggers
inscription - first circle spells (preferably ones that cost 1 or 2 regs)
alchemy - nightsight potions (not sure if its the least)

Combats - find a partner and spar with them. You both wear Armour and a weak weapon. Also you carry bandages and train healing so you dont die.
eg. swords - cleaver
fencing - dagger
mace - club
parrying - while you are sparring use a bunch of animals to attack you. It can be your horse or even 20 rabbits. Be sure to carry alot of shields and have your macro change them. This can be done by having a macro double click the shield type every 30 seconds. You will gm parry within a day. The more animals or people hitting you the faster you gain.

Magery - Cast first circle spells because they take the least mana. Either magic arrow or night sight if you dont want to hurt yourself and have to heal using bandages.

Resist - Cast a fire field and run through it as many times as you can.

Mining - Mine as many ores as you can, then seperate them into single piles and smelt them one by one. You have a chance to gain skill for each time you smelt.

As the ancient Oracle once stated, “a curse was never worn with pride but once it was worn, it had to be made the best of.”

That oracle was wise…

They were, the few, the angry… They wore their blood and darkness on their outside. Their skin, more like a bloodline of human entity absorbed from the innocent lives they had taken in the past. Their death-like colored shrouds were ghastly elementals formed from the blood of dead warriors, they see no remorse nor feel it.. they strive off the pain of others. In their minds, only the thoughts of those who’s lives they took from, and for that, their death vibe, black cloaked sandals. To block the pain from the earth they walk, the bottom of their foundation, for not even the earth to touch their feet because only they knew what needed to be. They wore their curse not by choice, but by honor, they made the best of it, scoundrel murders… the essence of blood filled their deepest thoughts and fantasies. They hath not any given name but by group they were known by.. The Immortals, unkillable, unstoppable.. completely and utterly wreckless to everyone and anything in their way, they gave meaning to suffering.. they gave value to life. Pittiful humans.. wealth and prosperity meant nothing in death.

-Scarecrow

The Items needed for this group will be:

1945-Skin Hue
1150-Death Shroud
1150-Sandals

Roles will be played 24/7 as stated and group is already being planned irl Smile.

-Thank you.

Mad tom Booney slowly brings down his old bronze spyglass as a small grin grows over his face. He tosses the spyglass onto the navigational table and gives the helm a quarter turn to the right. The bow of his boat, the Lucky Jack, crashes through the waves that are often created in the shallows around his destination, Buccaneers Den.
He knew the area well and let the boat lead it's own course and let his own mind wander over the events that him led him to leave the land in the first place.
He had been a pirate for ages. As a young boy he had always been drawn to the sea salt breezes and the crashing waves. To say he was born to a be pirate would be an understatement. Salt water coursed through his veins and the chilly ocean air filled his lungs. Once he was old enough to leave home he left and found his place on the "Privateer", a particularly run down "ship for hire" which had some, shall we say, opportunistic tendencies? They were sea mercenaries. Doing whatever job was necessary to the highest bidder. You needed to transport that gold to Ice island? The Privateer did it. You needed some muscle to protect your cartography exploits along the coast? The privateer did it. And of course when no one was around to pay the bills, or the rum ran out, the Privateer turned to pirating. It was Mad Tom's education. He learned everything from that ship and it's crew. How to properly weld a scimitar, how lob an explosion potion perfectly and of course how to drink rum like a professional.

Mad Tom couldn't stay on "The Privateer" forever though. He was a pirate after all, and one of the joys of being a pirate was the mobility, and he was tired of taking orders from everyone else. After one particularly bloody sea battle the crew of the privateer had completely wiped out the crew of another boat. In moment of pure bravado Mad Tom, became Captain Mad Tom Booney and untied the lines connecting the plundered ship to the privateer. He hopped aboard and sailed away throwing a small, sarcastic wave to his past crew and officers.

This was the start of the living legend of Captain Mad Tom Booney. The scourge of the seas and his ship the Lucky Jack. Of course with such stories circulating a lot of attention came his way as well. Mad Tom had the amazing ability to sniff out the biggest treasures and when one man goes for the big prize, powerful people take notice.

He was counting his gold, drinking his rum and planning his next voyage (this is how all pirates pass the time while not on the seas) in his safe house when three armed guards burst through the door with a warrant for his arrest. Mad Tom jumped to his feet, grabbed the key for Lucky Jack and hit recall. The guards were caught grasping through thin air.

After that close call Mad Tom decided to set sail, and left the mainland. He left it all behind except that which he carried in his backpack

Mad Tom Booney snaps back to attention as his mainsail luffs on the Lucky Jack.
"5 years since I've even set me foot on land..."
He could now see the lights of the taverns and could hear the general ruckus that occurs in them.
"Buccaneers den..."
He thoughtfully grabs up all of his essentials. His battle worn scimitar, his bronze eyepiece, and with a grin he ties his red bandanna around his brow.
"I'm home"

(OOC: I don't want any items or anything. Just saying hello to everyone)

Baka Wrote:Also, new duel pits will have trading disabled, so if you try to trade with someone, your items will be bounced back to your backpack. This has been done to make DP a little less "carebear"(god I hate stupid words that are undefined), if you want to trade, take a chance in town

Maka, I beg you to reconsider this. DP is and always has been the only place Reds and Blues could meet, chill, conclude deals. I feel its a really important part of what XUO was and nothing should be changed (exept the look it has now, which is imo full of ghay).
How do you expect people on later stages to conclude pimp rare dyes trades, tour gear trades and stuff ?
I ll tell you, everybody is gonna get a newbie char to conclude trades in britain. There is NO WAY anyone is gonna conclude an expensive hot trade in a non guarded area...
This is just gonna make Britain even more crowded and spammed with commercial ads by cape wearing PK's alts.
And this is made of fail and lose imo.
I dont even see the point of this change, you say DP is carebear ?
DP is sexy bro, its the only invul neutral place in the world and you should be able to conclude trades in it and that makes sense :/
In our human history, trades and important stuff were always settled in a neutral place and this should be the case here too.
Feedback please !

PS : One day I was walking in the street and I met that strange old woman. She told me that I would get rich magery is too slow make it faster and famed, and it was really amazing its really an interesting story.

peace out
