Born Kaytar of Moonglow, I learned many lessons as a child. Reading, writing, arithmetic, and many more lessons guided by a "little voice" telling us the difference between right and wrong. A conscious the called it... I just always believed that's who it was.

Aucifer the conscious. I'm sure he found that thought very entertaining.

As I became a young man, my formal studies focused more on the art of war. Swordplay, tactics, medical, strategy. All things that would be useful to a new adventurer in his travels, trying to make a name for himself. However he had other ideas as to how to use this skillset and the possibilities greatly interested him. He would lurk in my mind, making suggestions and comments, which I would suppress at first... but he made some very good points and more and more he seemed reasonable. I began to make decisions I immediately regretted. He started to make decisions I immediately regretted. And I had lost the struggle before it even began. He was no longer a voice in my head, I was a voice in his. And I soon went mute. What would my tender hearted mother say if she saw me like this? Probably "No, Kay, please, you don't have to do thi..."

That tender heart tasted even sweeter than I had imagined. She was just the first of many. My blood lust had been begun, and there was no telling what I was capable of doing.

After the unfortunate and unexplainable string of murders, the majority of my family line had died out. Moonglow offered nothing for me and I had to relocate before the guards found out. I took to the city of Paupa. A quite town. A deserted town. A bandit town. There I met Darren, a pale skinned fellow in a strange robe. There was something different about him, but he seemed just the right brand of crazy for me to think well of. I entertained his ramblings of legends regarding Goblins and Vampires. Is it possible there was someone more crazy than me?

I left him alive. I had enjoyed his story.

However, what if the crazy albino was telling the truth? It was a thought that crossed my mind often. I would never put much effort into the search, but I noticed myself paying more attention to insignificant details I normally wouldn't register, all in hopes of possibly confirming the rumor. A Vampire. What allure. What style. What power.

I must have it.

My search for the legend became an extremely active one. But it seemed the more I looked, the farther away I got from the truth. Until one very frustrated night, as I lay in an uncomfortable Inn bed...

"I heard you've been looking for us. Why do you care?" asked the stranger. He seemed familiar, but we had never met.
"I don't know you, old man. Is there a reason I should care?" I reached for my weapon, but it wasn't there.
He smirked at my efforts. "We are the creatures of the night. The Nosferatu. I know everything about you, even though you know nothing about yourself. We create chaos. We create war. We are evil incarnate. And no one is even sure if we exist. I heard about you a while back. You impressed one of our elders in a bandit town. We've followed you ever since. We are the power that you seek. We are Vampire. And I have come to collect your soul."

I had deduced his purpose before his last couple of sentences, but I kept a cool facade. But is this really what I wanted? I sought it for so long, but now I must make an educated decision on my next few words, for they will change my path forever.

To Hell with educated decisions.

"Lets go," was my reply.

The good in us is weaker, for we are born again. A child of darkness.

I wonder why it is not possible to join a tourney if you are a bit late? That's just stupid in my opinion, you have to stay tuned all the ****ing day just to know when tours will come?

  Stuck at "Verifying Account"

Hello, I am new to this server and cannot seem to login. It just seems to hang at "Verifying Account". I have never successfully logged in before with any account. I have tried using both Razor and ConnectUO, and I get the same result with both. When using Razor I made sure to use:

server: inx.xs4all.nl
port: 2593

I am using UO version 6.0.5.0. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could try?

I reinstalled UO after that i havent been able to get the small icons in top of the screen (the picture of each reg type, arrows etc..) to show. I get the number of how many i have of each item, but no picture or letter BM : 23 for 23 blood moos. all i have right now is a : then a number, nothing else
It's really anoying since i have no idear what regs i am running out of, i can't see how many arrows i have left etc.. anyone know how to fix this ?

1) do NOT page for tournaments. we can not guarantee when tournaments will take place, and we host them when we see a need for them. the more players page for tournaments the less they will be hosted. think of them as a reward. we dont owe you them, but give you them so you can have a bit of extra fun.

2) do NOT block the supply stones in towns or pits pad by macroing near them. we will move you away from them so people can use them. if you are macroing healing for example and the stones happen to be by water that you use to wash aids, find another water spot. it is not our fault if you are moved away from supply stones and die because you can't wash your aids.

  Weapon Damage

Well no reason to go into great depth, the topic basically sums it all up.

The weapon damage is extremely high, and theres no real difference between a VANQ/Normal bard. I seen someone hit me for 60+ damage twice in a row, with I believe it was silver armor, with a normal bard. Then I get hit by a exec axe of ruin doing a constant 40 damage, its just not set properly.

I'm sure anyone whos faught 1vs1 knows what i'm talking about. There needs to be a tweak with the weapons. Also, I dont think people miss enough. You hit the target too many times in a row, you wont ever have a chance to get back into it. I mean there hould be like 4x in a row hit, but getting to 7 in a row can get ridiculous...

We need to change the weapon damage system, atleast I think, having dueled numerous times. Also change the ammount of times you hit someone/miss...

I say when one guild declares war on another, Its on.

Why should the other guild need to accept it?

I mean it seems kind of stupid I declare war on you. and they say no. so what... no war?

When I try to pick something up off the ground an error pops up and says " Another character from this account is currently online in this world. You must either log in as that character or wait for it to time out". what does this mean. And also who do I contact about a account transfer cuz I cant remember my old account password.

I suppose it might be getting somewhat out of control. I've just seen three different character with the name Jerry Springer. Maybe the admins should add a system that would check during charater creation whether the name already exists on the server.
