A town has been destroyed by a militant group who seems to be able to control beastmen!
Many mercenaries have been called in to help drive the beastmen back so that the town can be reclaimed, but reinforcements are needed. A camp has been established at the entrance to the town and our walls have managed to keep the beastmen from advancing, but the time has come to fight back!
Portals have been set up on the Britain bank and in the duel pits to aid in the recruitment process, and the experienced mercenaries at the camp are eager to help train young recruits.
====================
Note: This area is meant to help new players train after leaving the newbie dungeon. The old newbie dungeon is still accessible from a tunnel in the mercenary camp.
There are lots of quests that trigger at low skill levels that will let you get a boost to your skills, as well as a few other quests available to the more skilled players.
WARNING: The mercenary camp is ACTIVELY GUARDED, so murderers and criminals should stay away from the recruitment portals.

If you're new to IN-X or know someone who is and need a boost to get started, find me. I've got some money to loan and items to give away to get you started.
Good luck. See you in game!

Jigsaw is making a return to the land of xtreme....

Happy Thanksgiving to all! Even if you live in a part of the world that doesn't celebrate the holiday, feel free to go out and kill yourself a turkey anyway.
With that being said, I got a little carried away and killed way too many myself, so I decided to stuff them. However there was just too many to fit in my place so I hid them all over the world for you guys to find.
Your objective: Find as many stuffed turkeys as you can within a week's time.
At the end of the week, the player with the most will win a special prize from me. Though anyone who finds one of my turkeys will get a reward as well and depending on how close the numbers are there may be a second place prize to win. (as with most of my events, prizes will not be disclosed)
There are many many turkeys hidden around the world and most of them will not be easy to find. The only clue I will give you is to look for my favorite color while wandering the world. Surely if you find something green that wasn't there in the past, you may have found what you are looking for.
Oh and to top off the prizes there are two special turkeys; the golden turkey and Shade's turkey. If you find the golden turkey you will also find with it a weapon crafted by me and it is even hued! Shade's turkey will hold a much larger prize, for the person who finds it, riches await... however I don't really expect anyone to find it but players have shocked me before, so good luck!
One last thing, you might want to keep an eye out for 3 mounts as well. There is a horse, llama, and zostrich each with a unique hue. They will not respawn, this is a one time deal so search for them quickly!

I need a GM to buy a chaos

Ok the return of the weekly 1v1 will be held at 9pm server time for all you pvp addicts! So tell your friends and lets get a good turn out for this one!

i can't see few stuff you've added to the shard, i tried redownloading the hues, muls etc.. so i guessed the problem was that my client was 5.0.3. so i dloaded the 6.0.4 or whatever there was on the misc section. well seems i need a map1.mul, i have 0,2,3 and 4 on my map but not 1 :/
help?

I have a challenge for a someone who thinks they're a scripting bad-ass. A Mount Everest for you to climb: I was thinking about the tools and how there are so many of them that they start to get cluttered. It may be nice to have something like a swiss army knife that can function as multiple tools. Here's how I imagine it working:
Double clicking the tool will bring up a menu with buttons for the list of tradeskills.
*Blacksmithing
*Carpentry
*Bowcraft/Fletching
*Lumberjacking
*Mining
*Tailoring
*Alchemy
*Inscription
*Cartography
*Weaving (see below)
*Stone Crafting
*Glass Blowing
*Clay Crafting
*Clay Digging
Select the tradeskill that you want the item to function as, and it will turn into that item.
IF the item is something that you can double click to target something (mining pick, etc), then you must target itself to bring up the menu to change its function.
IF the item has no target on double click, then double clicking it will bring up the craft-select menu.
About Weaving: Since the weaving skill consumes the weaving, the knife has the same number of charges as a normal weaving tool. If you select weaving after you use all the charges, it will ask you to target a weaving tool to recharge the spool.
=============================================================
The question is: What happens to GM Rewards? Well, one option is to have this be a separate item that is non-newbied. If that's the case, here's my suggested crafting materials:
Spring (13)
Hinge (13)
Log (5)
Iron Ingot (10)
Smithing Hammer
Saw
Fletching Tools
Hatchet
Mining Pick
Sewing Kit
Mortar and Pestle
Scribe's Pen
Cartographer's Pen
Weaving Tool
Stone-Crafting Tool
Glass-Blowing Tool
Clay-Crafting Tool
Clay-Digging Shovel
The second option, the one that I like, is to make this thing something bad-ass to work for that will absorb your existing tools into itself. Here's how it'd work:
Quest Reward from Master Tinkerer. (newbied)
Quest triggers if you have more than X amount in all craft skills, (lets say 75 in each).
He'll compliment you on your dedication to crafting, then offer to make you a the knife if you bring him materials:
Adamantium Ingot (10)
Frostwood Log (20)
Dragon's Blood (10)
Daemon's Heart (10)
Gold (50,000)
(Possibly items from killing certain monsters that he'll point you to.)
After you receive the item, it will function as mentioned before, but it has an extra button to add/remove your rewards from it.
You can add your custom GM rewards, then when you turn the tool into that item, it will have the same color and name as the reward.
You can use the same menu to remove your item from the tool and have it go back to looking normal. (e.g. from r/r pickaxe to a blank pickaxe)

Tomorrow the people come back

I am willing to donate 100 dollars, the problem is, I dont have any credit card.
Is there a chance if I give you 100 dollars in cash and you pass it to Taran via credit card since you are the only staff that lives in the Dominican Republic??
