Here's my macro for collecting cotton and flax (you can make cloth from it using spinning wheel and loom).
finditem IPE_FPE_HPE_CPE_TEK_VEK_WEK G_2
if #FINDCNT > 0
{
set #lObjectID #FINDID
event Macro 17 ; last object
}
finditem NFF_QEK_PEK G_2
if #FINDCNT > 0
{
Exevent Drag #findid #findstack
Exevent Dropc #backpackid
}
Just loat it up on EasyUO, press play and run around cotton/flax fields. It will gather any cotton and flax near you.

While on a routine tour through his favorite hunting spots, a weary hunter decided to take a much deserved rest. As he looked around the caverns trying to dicern where the floor started and ceiling ended, he wondered where his normal quarry was. He had been hunting these parts for many years, all the while learning all the routines of its inhabitants, he actually had come to make a profitable living on these trips. On this particular day though there was an eerie way about the caverns. Normally, this area was bustling with hordes of ghouls and witch-like creatures, he had even been known to run into a vampire or two on his explorations deeper into the caverns. For some reason unknown to our hunter something just wasn't right.
As Epist sat up from his rest he began to pack his equipment and set out to a new area of the carven, perhaps his quarry had decided to go deeper due to the warming of the air. The ascension down into this particular cavern was one of a risky nature, requiring all his focus and talent if he was to make it safely to the other side. Leaving a rope tied to a boulder would be a sure way for him to climb back out when he had explored all he could. On the way down into the carven he noticed a heavy shift in the temperature, it felt as if he was being pelted with ice cold rocks all over his body every time a breeze would ascend upwards from the crevice he was regrettably diving down. As he started to run out of rope he decided to light a torch and drop it to determine what he thought was a shallow entrance. After dropping the torch he realized he was only 15 feet from the bottom so he decided to drop the rest of the way. Once on solid ground and his rope tied off, he began exploring the maze-like caverns all around him. It didn't take Epist long to notice this was no ordinary area that had been created by nature and sheer chance, this area had been carved out tunnel by tunnel with crude tools, leaving piles of dust along the base of the walls. He also began to notice engravings of a unique nature along the ceilings, and at a closer glance he noticed an ink of some kind smeared all over the drawings.
At the end of tunnel off to the left, he noticed a bit of light coming through the wall. Epist made his way down the narrow corridor blindly following the light, which led him into an oval shaped room with a table in the middle. The light seemed to be coming from a tiny pin hole in the ceiling, but he knew this to be almost impossible seeing as he knew for sure they were maybe a thousand feet below ground.
Once inside the room, Epist quickly became aware that this room seemed to be the center of the maze-like chamber he had stumbled upon. The light was beaming perfectly onto a stone altar of some sort that hadnât been used in ages. He made his way closer to make a better examination of table and noticed the same residue or ink that was all over the ceilings. As well as many of the same markings adorned the altar. It was then he made his startling discovery, the residue on the altar was in fact blood. Epist wondered to himself what kind of place had he stumbled upon.
He made a dash for the entrance he stumbled on an old torch, sending him flying into a wall where he landed on a pile of discard clothes. The fall was broken by the pile of clothes and some object buried beneath them. He started rummaging through the clothes and noticed they were piles of shrouds, a bit dirty, but nonetheless a bright red color with a sort of silk fabric. Seeing as the area to be cold, Epist threw one on and began to pick up the object buried beneath the rest of the clothes. He noticed at once the object to be a book, a very old book indeed. It appeared to be bound in some type of leather, and though he did not believe it to be of human skin he did think it had some properties of a man. The book must have weighed more than 5 pounds but was no bigger than your average book.
Epist took the book to the altar to where he could use some light and began to flip through some of the pages. The book was littered with incantations and scripture of an earlier time in history. After a few minutes of examining he came to the conclusion that this was a religious book and he decided that this was a bizarre find but a find nonetheless. Once the book was firmly secured into his pack he made his way back to his rope and was glad to find everything the way he left it. As he began to make his way up the air he could of swore he felt something move past his legs as he was using the wall to climb up. After a few moments he began again to the top.
He made his way back to the town and to his shop where he unloaded the rest of his things and stowed the book away in his desk for safe keeping. At first he didnât think anything of it, but he could have swore the book weighed a lot less last he had carried it. But it was probably just his mind playing tricks on him. I mean after all, he did just climb in and out of a chamber covered in strange drawings and blood. He began to get ready for bed, started blowing out the candles, fed his dog, and made sure to check his door. He was about to pull the blankets over him when he realized he still had on the dirty robe from the caverns⦠odd he thought.. as he pulled the covers over him and drifted off to sleepâ¦
This is just one part of hopefully many more to come that will complete a story.
I think there's no reason to keep having the "PVP" in the name of the reward stone, as it just seems to make confusion among some players on this shard. I've seen certain lost boys, for example LudaKrishna, stating how it's unreasonable to give out PVP-rewards after non- or less PVP-related events, such as Death by Dice, Bomberman and the recently suggested boxing tournament.
The tickets are working very well, and it's a great and simple way to reward the players from certain events. There's of course no reason to add another type of tickets to the non- or less PVP-related events, but instead, to avoid such confusion I explained earlier, just change the name of them to something more generally as "Event tickets"/"Event tournament tickets" (Ã'm sure there's better fitting names, as I just came up with these two the second I wrote them).
Neither is the rewards in the stone particularly PVP-related, there's rewards fitting for everyone in it and I suspect even more is to come.
I think I would tend to donate more if there was more donation items available.
My sugestions would be to add these as purchasable items and adjust the price of other items as necesary:
- Exclusive donation mounts, like specialy colored bear mount, that can be killed if you die, that wouldnt give player any advantage in game and it wouldnt stop in-game mount economy as people would probably only use that mount in town, not often, and when they die with it, they either would donate again or purchase an in-game mount from a tamer.
- Special donation lantern that can be worn even if you wear a two hands weapon, like a bard, the lantern would still be equiped in the 2nd hand.
- RR Fireworks wand, not newbied. Could be cheap if limited charges, or more expensive if unlimited charges. Like 100 charges 1$, unlimited charges 5$.
- Tubs usable only by the person who donated, exactly like GM tailor tubs.
- More ideas to come soon...
You can add your own suggestions!
Thanks!

My brothers, if you cant see your guild name no worries... Please find Zero than he ll add you guild again...
Bloody Regards all my brothers....
I am going to be move at the end of the month and the only connection I can find in the area is going to have to be via satellite. I have heard that satellite will always have a 1-2 second latency delay no matter what, and will that effect my game play on this server? They want 80$ a month for it and I currently don't think its worth it, but I am hoping someone will tell me it is.
Hi,
I'm new to the shard, and trying to return to UO after a 7 year absence. I'm having problems with the client (I think). For example, when my brand spankin' new character spawns the noob area (the first place you go in game). It looks like an open grass field, but there are lots of trophies and what not hanging in the air, and when I walk I run into tons of invisible obstacles. These issues lead me to believe the noob area is not an open field but some sort of building. Which further means, I can't see the walls!
I thought it was just an issue with the SA client so I removed it and installed ML instead. Both were patched using INX patch. Neither seems to be working properly.
I also keep getting errors with my .net framework.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
I think blacksmithing is unreasonably hard to GM... A lot of people already have the skill GM'd which doesn't make it very valuable in that sense, and the reward is only a smith's hammer.
I gained 6 points from 80.9 to 81.5 from 5k ingots making daggers... Thats approximately 1 point per 280 daggers. Assuming it gets harder and harder, I guess I'll have to make about 280*185(points left to GM)*2(since it gets a bit harder) = 103k daggers to GM, which is 309k ingots, which is more than 3 mill if I sell it. For 3 mill I can buy several exceptional adamantium and sapphire armors and a max bard and some pvp supplies. What's the meaning of GM'ing the skill if it's this hard and costs (well since I mine it doesn't cost me anything but time, but since I have the option of choosing between 309k ingots and 3 mill (because I can sell it) it does in some sense) this much?
The gain from GM'ing it seems EXTREMELY unproportional to the effort to GM it...
Suggestion: Make it easier, a lot easier.
Well I'm glad to see IN is up and running... I'm trying now to remember how to DL and install all this and if I even remember how to play UO. :eek:
But if I get lucky maybe I can get ingame this evening...
See ya'll soon
Em
Well, I'm writing this because there are many people who think that things are not being well announced.
For example: static auctions, important ingame changes and so...
I think forums are not the best place to announce critical things. It should be helped by ingame news. Using the town crier, a gump or a bulletin board (for more RP atmosphere) placed around main banks like Brit, Occlo or any other extra place like the pits. Just places where everybody will see it when they play and when they don't play the game.
In my case, I noticed there were auctions into the forums when Hiroshima got his little static in Brit.
Another thing are PVP events. Why aren't they being announced? Just a few sentences during 15 or 10 minutes ingame are not the best way. They should be announced with a permanent little ingame gump and into the forums. Some way everybody can see them.
I hope this will be taken into consideration, because this is troublesome im my honest opinion
