This new server gonna fix all the bugs and tweak it a little bit, but whats going to be so much better about this new server; that would make it so much different from sphere or TUS. I wouldnt mind a drastic change. I can wait for that.
All the commands. All the new things that you're going to be able to do; I think should be posted right here on the message boards so not only staff, but players will know. Theres gotta be a level playing ground for everyone.
Anyway is this server gonna be up within the next month, because I wont have a computer soon. So I would love to play soon.... THX
Thats the newbies guide for pvp. Pvp is really simple and everyones is the exact same. You can only get so good at this game. Plane simple period. To people on top of there game will never kill eachother unless its naked and no move. Has been proven. Once you get to that level. As I once was, nobody can beat you but yourself. Timing is the second most important thing behind not making mistakes. 3RD is supplies. Having unlimited ammounts of what you use in a duel is 3rd. all that other bullshit, is second nature pvp. I know I sucked really bad last time I played but I was playing on a labtop with no mouse, and it was from B.C. There should be no secrets to pvp. Your guide was a newbies pvp guide.
Oh and you can be good at everything. Megadeth was. Chaos almost was just not very offensive. I was close but my weakness was boredum and creativity.
All my keys are mainly f1 -f8 gets f1234 are healing keys f1 is ghspell f2 is aid self f3 is mgreflect scroll and f4 is ghscrollself. f5 is flamestrike last target f6 is lighting l.t. f7 is NOS scrolls last target. and f8 is harm. My spam key is the key under my ESC ```. My last target key is 1. Those are the only keys I need for pvp. If I devoted as much time as I did on NOS. Or XUO1. Im sure I could be one of the best and Toke and Nox both know that.
Oh yeah. I remember MY old guild EMPIRE. hahaha So funny you mentioned that. My friends got so pissed that I joined that guild, and had to gank them but I didnt care I was so sick of fighting against them with my 40 man guild. So I quit it and joined. Funning losing friends cause you were in a different guild. Then soon after that the guild crumbled cause of Mark and Arch, and all the bugs my friend and mark did. Sucked was a sad time for me, and my irl friend had to bring my favorite shard of all time down... TISK TISK TISK....
p.s. AND YOU KNOW THIS MAN
i can only hope that the conceptualist and architect of this project has the opportunity to enjoy it. Best wishes.
Well folks, not trying to irritate or even start a war by this, I just passed by this long forgotten news topic:

News
Imagine Nation has always had a great community and a large following. We proved this to be true with the 200+ players that showed up for our launch of IN:R about 4 months ago. However, creating a true Sphere replica was a lot more time comsuming and difficult then we had antisipated. In an effort to keep the spirit of Imagine Nation alive we decided to do something big. Here are the details. This was written by Maka, the admin of XUO. However, it should give everyone a firm understanding of what is happening and what is to come. The current ETA for this project to be complete is January, 2007.
Whatââ¬â¢s this?
This is supposed to be an insight on our project, Imagine Nation: Xtreme (IN:X), that hopefully will reignite a fire in the sphere community. We will provide you with information about our two current shards, Xtreme Ultima Online and Imagine Nation: Reborn, benefits of the merge, an outline of the server features, staff structure and the whole idea with this merge.
First off
You guys need to know that this server wonââ¬â¢t be launched until we find it to be perfect. We will not start a half done shard and get you disappointed and I will not merge the players of XUO to something below their standards. I just want to let you know where you can place your expectations, as XUO is a 90% Sphere replica.
Why merge?
XUO and IN has been around for about 6 years as separate communities, might seem a little strange to merge now, but we are doing it! The old Sphere .51 community is dieing out. People have lost trust in Sphere cause of the instability, and frankly, you are very limited with such an old emulator. I (maka) have been running my sphere replica for about half a year now and Iââ¬â¢ve managed to create a very stable and good PvP shard that resembles sphere to about 90%. IN have recently done the same thing but the community was not pleased with the results. The idea now is to merge INs devoted and active player base with the knowledge and result of XUO. XUO is solely a PvP server, not much to do on it besides competing. IN is a more environment based server, where the thing is more about the feel, but with flawing PvP. Merging these two servers will give you a server with decorated and interesting dungeons, accurate Sphere PvP, larger community, new features and that sphere feeling youââ¬â¢ve been missing. Imagine Nation:Xtreme will be the perfect hybrid between PvP, RP and PvE. Here is an outline of the IN:X features.
- Community merge. IN has had a peak of 200 players and XUO has about a 40-50 people on average.
- 95-99% sphere replica. PvP, skills, text and fonts and housing will be like its supposed to be. The ââ¬Åfeelââ¬Â is whatââ¬â¢s important.
- IN:X re-scripted on RunUO 2.0, a lot of new features enabled. Saving while playing, support for new UO versions (such as UO:KR), generally less lag the scripting utilities of the .Net 2.0 framework. This will be needed to run a RunUO shard in the future.
- Staff merge. The active staff members from both shards get to stay. This means that the staff will cover more time zones and that your pages wonââ¬â¢t go unanswered where ever you live. More developers also means higher frequency and quality of updates.
- A 4x1.8GHz computer with a 155Mbit connection. The computer and the connection are both sponsored; this means that no donations are required to keep the server alive.
- New scripting features, such as PvP ladders, filters, vote system and IRC clients.
- The PvP ladder keeps track of everyone joining events, every kill that is guild related
and duel stone kills. Here is a small preview:
- [Filter command filters away all sounds and animations that are out of sight. This is perfect is situations such as events, where thereââ¬â¢s a lot of sound, and reduces your lag.
- An in-game IRC client that uses the OSI chat interface. It is now easy to be on IRC!
- A vote system that rewards you for voting and encourages players to bring players.
- An event supply system in certain events. This system ensures that everyone has the best possible gear and makes special events less item based.
- Two huge communities now becoming one, more players online and an active forum.
- An interesting worlds to explore with new armors, monsters and decorated dungeons. You will now enjoy riding through Destard, Hytloth and Wrong.
- Extended advertising options. This means that we can use the donation money to buy banners and text links on the different top lists and use Google as an advertising method. In the end it sums up to more new players joining!
- GM (skill) reward items. Have you spent time to get that skill? Now youââ¬â¢ll get something special for it!
- RP and PvP reward items, you will be rewarded for winning the (Tournament, Guild or Duel) ladder or completing that quest youââ¬â¢ve been working on.
- Advertising on ConnectUO and UOGateway. XUO could not do this due to the name.
Staff members
There are obviously a lot of questions regarding the staff. Iââ¬â¢m sure that some of you guys are worried about cheating now that we merge our two servers and you get staff members that you are unfamiliar with, but donââ¬â¢t be. The staff team on both shards has been picked for a reason and we are only granting access to the active ones. We donââ¬â¢t want people with staff accounts that donââ¬â¢t do anything for our community and we do not want your pages going unanswered. We will also take various actions to prevent cheating, just in case. An example is that we will implement a system that tags every staff made item with the account of the staff member that created it. This means that it will even be easy for a counselor to detect a cheated item. There will also be 2 people with access to the logs, besides me and Coldrake, which will read the logs on an every day basis to make sure nothing is done illegally. There will also be two higher staff members, like head GMs, which will be there to server your specific need. These head GMs will have the title of ââ¬ÅPvP blablaââ¬Â and ââ¬ÅPvE blablablaââ¬Â and they will be your go to guy if something under those categories is wrong. You will obviously be able to go to someone else, but these two will have ââ¬Åspecialââ¬Â insight in their fields.
(Skill and item)Transfers
Transfers will not be the same for both the servers. XUO will get PvP skills and the players from IN will get X amount of craft skills and the choice to take those craft skills in combats instead. This has been done due the different skill gains of our servers. IN:Rs skill gain is A LOT(1 week for alch, 1 week for magery) harder than the XUO one, so we see it no more than fair to grant them the crafts. This will also stimulate an economy where everyone doesnââ¬â¢t have everything, just need to find that vendor! XUO players will also get an X % of their money them from the server, we know itââ¬â¢s a drag to start over and over again, but this time you wonââ¬â¢t have to. An advance method will be used to "transfer"(sell) all your items into gold and them bring them with us on IN:X. PvP(XUO) and RP(IN:R) rewards are also discussed in this transfer.
Web site
We will have a new and exiting web site that gives a breath of fresh air to the community. This is important to us as the web site is one of the main factors if a player joins the server or not when they see our server for the first time. It will be content rich, easy to navigate and most important, you will be able to see that its IN:X you are visiting. There will also be assigned people writing and updating the news section so that the site stays updated and fresh.

This new server will be better in every way, including this one. We will offer you guys to donate, and the donations will go the the server web site and advertizing. We already have a few hounded $ in our donation stash and we have been sponosred with ad space worth a few hounded. Advertizing methods we will use will include google, adbride and the various top shards.
I for one know that things take their time to be concluded, and that an UO shard is by far a difficult package to please all people and no I'm not saying this kind of post is a deja-vue, only time will tell ...
We are almost at 5 months from this News publication, the ETA of this project in my true belief will only be accomplished within 1 year and that goes with a good and decent dedicated base staff, and I'm being reasonable on this.
For all of you that get bored all day long, chill out and if you truly love UO let it flourish within it's time being, if you hurry it, then it will be awful, if you love UO you will love it forever.
Then again much things may happen within this period of time.
Kudos to Taran for his courage and presence, I truly wish IN-X the best although late start
Wow, the PvP guide was a very big dissapointment...
Nox, c'mon dude, it was long, boring and useless :$
So yeh, I decided to make my OWN PvP guide for Nubs xD.
Be aware though, in this guide are things, that NO ONE ever knew, and that might change your life completely.
You must be 18+ to read this, SHOCKING images.
Here it goes :
#1, the MOST important rule of PvP.
Be comfortable.
The keys you choose on your keyboard to for example, cast a Flamestrike, is probably the most important thing about PvP. If you aren't comfortable or their is too big of a distance between each key, then that's what decides the speed of your reaction time. Good PvPers, have keys that are close to each other, not too close and that are easily accessible. One of the biggest mistakes i've seen in PvP, is people that use Numbers to cast Flamestrike, etc. Bad idea, because if you accidentally hit 3, for example, and thats your XUO Flamestrike scroll, and you wanted to press 6, which is your Gheal macro, you are pretty much finished.
#2
Use the Sound WITHIN!
Sound, what a beautiful thing, actually, you can't see sound, so hmm you can't really know if it's beautiful. Anyways... Sound, is probably the 2nd most important thing in PvP. Actually, it is the 2nd most important thing in PvP.
If you have no sound, well hmmm... i dunno go beat your uncle or something, Do NOT waste your time on this game, unless you love Mining so much.
Sound determines the winner of a duel, because if you do not have sound, you will NEVER know what your opponent is doing [aids, potions, XUO Flamestrike]. Here's my little secret in improving your hearing capabilities, run around Britain and just try to KNOW what animals are making the noises. Helps you a lot.
#3
Bandages, the gift of the GODS.
Alright, you know when you first rode on that bicycle of yours, when you we're like 5 years old? Then you fell down, and you mom put a BANDAGE on your knee, cause it was bleeding? Remember those good ol' times? Did it help ease the pain? HELL NO, those BLOODY BANDAGES never helped. So if your character on Ultima Online gets hit by a 500 lbs piece of metal ( bardiche ) or gets whipped by a piece of stick (q staff ) bandages SHOULD NOT BE USED.
The only time you should use bandages, is in EXTREME cases.
The problem with Ultima Online players is the dependance to bandages, now let's cure this disease together. :o FS + FS = 92 dmg
Bandage should be used at 90hp or MORE, until you get more experienced.
You should also use bandages at 75hp lvl, but that's for more experienced players to use, because you gotta calculate hit ratio + mana regeneration lvl, BUT ANYWAYS...
#4
Skills, no not PVP skills, trainable skills, NO NOT A TRAIN!
skills to GM : Anatomy, Meditation ( believe it or not ), Tactics, Archery ( believe it or not ), Fencing, Swordsmanship, parrying ( believe it or not ), magery ( believe it or not JUST KIDDING ), Evaluating Intelligence are required to FIGHT.
Alchemy, inscription are required to MAKE items to duel.
Poisoning, Mining, Blacksmithing to HELP you win duels.
#5
Timing, is probably the less important thing about PvP.
Timing is something that can be easily developped, unlike other things, that become BAD habits, such as EBD ( Excessive Bandage Disease ), IVMD ( In Vas Mani Disease [ if you start saying In Vas Mani IRL, you got problems ] ,
OEFS ( Over Excessive FlameStrike Syndrome [ If you use XUO Scrolls 5 times in a row, it's NOT a good idea ] ), ETC.
Anyways, back to Timing, the best way to develop timing, is EVERYWHERE and how you do it, is just keep on casting spells on yourself.
Here's a routine I used when I was bad [ If you say I am still bad, I will cut your head off with my moustache. ] : XUO FlameStrike on YourSelf, Bandage 2 Times, Gheal Yourself. Just try doing that without FIZZLING any spells and just try to keep the less delay possible between each spell.
#6
During tournaments,
ALWAYS ALWAYS chew gum. It may sound stupid, but gum helps you a lot during Tournaments, it helps you get good at doing 2 things at once, it helps you concentrate more on the tournament and not on the noises surrounding your computer. A little secret, yet again, by Afraz
I don't wanna elaborate more, cause I'm running out of time and gtg, I made this guide in 20 minutes and it still wrecks Nox's ugly guide.
#7
Style...
There is no such thing as a DUELING STYLE, in Ultima Online, everyone plays differently, and that's how it will always be. Do not try to BE like other people, just see what your BEST at.. Defense, Offense, Fakes, Fake movement, Spams? No one is good at everything, but everyone is good at something. A message from the gouvernement de Quebec.
#8
Observing a duel, is probably the most toxic thing that a new PvPer can do. Never ever observe duels, unless it's the finals between 2 GOOD players.
Just try to observe the FINISHING blow, that is the only important part of a duel, the Final Strike ( FS = FlameStrike = Final Strike Ha!Ha!Ha! [ Yes I will hang my self soon] ). Watching how they die, will help you play against those people, since everyone plays THEIR way. It might sound weird, but everyone has a different way of ENDING a duel.
I personally like to Lightning spam / Harm kills.
Makaveli tha don, liked to reflect a lot.
hmm I dunno Bilbo, liked to each Cheeseburger sandwiches and ACCIDENTLY the pickle would fall on the right button at the right time.
Just try to NOTICE how people END their duels, so you can prevent that from happening to you.
#9 Do not name your character EightySwords, or you WILL be a noobie.
I made this guide in 20 minutes, I didn't have enough time to elaborate on each subject, and now I got to go, please leave your opinions on my guide.
It owns Nox's guide Jajajajajaj

I think first and foremost. Getting more players of old involved is the key. Promotion of the website or something has to happen because nobody wants to play uo anymore. Theres too many new rpg/pvp games that way out-date this shit. So I dont understand the upgrade in all these servers when all the old players wanna do is have it just like Novus Opiate anyway.
Cant we just load a duel pit server? With just a duel pit? No Items or anything until you finish your server. It would keep people fresh and wanting to play. Then just one day throw up the new server with the same login.... That would be great. As you can tell I got way off the subject cause I wanna play and im stoned.
Anyway every player that recruits another player should be rewarded something. I dont know what a fair idea is for that because its not for me to decide. You could check i.p.s and make sure its a real recruit. That would be really great. Anyway RESPONDE BELOW!
Alrighty, well on the previous Xtreme Ultima Online server, Makaveli had done an enormous mistake.
He forgot to fix the TREASURE HUNTING loot, and like the Cleverly Drawn maps loot, was kind of BOOSTED!? you dig? so fix that shit before I cut you IRL.
Can I suggest that we put the picture and description of the housing back on the website, I know it was on the IN2 website but I just came back and it is not there on the IN:X website. I think it is very helpful for those choosing a house.
Hi guys, I'm an old Novus Opiate player who played XUO under the name Divine back in the days. I'd really like to get back to uo and this server would be a great place to be, but I'm wondering what is the ETA of the next beta?
Thanks,
- Fury

Hey is it just me? or is archtype none exisitant now lol
