Forges/Anvils should have a certain ammount of use and then break, so that people who wasted 100+ hours to GM carpentry, actually earn money.. I don't even have GM carpentry, but just a great idea to balance the economy [switch the money of players] hunters = hunt money = buy forges for home and then break then buy more, balances it out a little, Iguess?

I say, we should have ONE main taming area, for example Wind Courtyard, that is accessible by ALL. The reason for this is to promote PvP and make it a little riskier to go taming, because everyone will know the spot, everyone will want rides and everyone will bring their "guilds" to come protect them and it'll be a huge war.
Would be fun as hell, so it's a huge war, winner = gets rides Smile

I once knew a man.. Ohhh..! How bizarre he was...
His face components we're covered by a mask..
The mask he'd obtained while vanquishing the Orc King Hrothgar..
That battle... Ouff, what a battle. An epic battle, an exasperating adventure that required patience and logic. Let's go more into details in this battle, shall we?

It all began in 1992, the birth of this mysterious man, who's name is unknown. He was born in Occlo, the city of the dread and poor, we're criminals we're found everywhere, running, killing, looting..
He was born and raised by his mother, Samantha. The society in which he was being raised, was a horrible influence, killing, blood everywhere, that's all he'd ever known.

When he was 7 years old, The Unknown man had already mastered the Bardiche and his Swordsmanship skills. He'd stolen a bardiche from a local shop and he'd practice wielding it every night before attending his routinely prepared meal. No one could match his power, all the fights he'd have with his neighbors,he would always beat them. His speed and strength we're incomparable, he had nerves of steel and the patience of a rock. But of course, those fights we're just for fun.

At the age of 9, The Unknown started doing things he shouldn't.
He started practicing the art of magery, an art that was restricted to anyone, due to the fact that it could be fatally dangerous.
But The Unknown didn't care, his strength wasn't enough, it didn't appease the emptiness in his heart. And that's when things went wrong.

From the moment he'd opened his first spellbook, until now,10 years later, his hate and greed for power wouldn't cease to grow. Day by day, he'd want more power. The little spells weren't enough, he needed to learn the art of Black Magic. But the only Black Magic Spellbook ever written was hidden in The Orcish camp base in Trinsic. So The Unknown did what he had to do.. He took the quickest boat to Trinsic.

So.. The days went on and on, and The Unknown's patience diminishing by the second. As the journey was going on, his capability to withstand the wait was going down. To calm his addiction of power, he'd do horrible, horrible things, he'd steal, kill, and rob people. And no one could ever recognize him because his visage was hidden by his Death Shroud.

When he finally arrived to Trinsic, he walked constantly for 10 hours to finally arrive to The Orcish camp base. His mouth started watering, like a fat man awaiting his supper impatiently, his desire for blood and power grew instantly, almost exponentially. He was finally there, and he was going to get his book.

He then entered the Orcish camp base, and boy, was it easy for him.
He took out the first 50 orcs with a simple Kal Vas Flam, which means "Summoning or Invoking[Kal] a Great[Vas] Flame[Flam].

But then, came out with his shiney Adamantium armor, Hrothgar, the legendary Orc. He was gargantuan, enormous. He truly matched the description that was given to The Unknown by his sailor mates, which he'd disposed of before exiting the boat. He was enormous, green, and looked so strong.. He was like nothing The Unknown had ever seen before. Holding his two-handed sword, the orc yelled : I AM HROTHGAR! You have disturbed me and killed 50 of my men! I shall squish you like a bug, mortal!

And the epic fight began, an intense fight, between The Unknown and Hrothgar. The Unknown had the advantage over Hrothgar, due to his knowledge of the light spells and he already had a plan on how to beat Hrothgar. The battle was fierce, and Hrothgar was the only enemy whom knew how to protect himself from an "An Ex Por", which means "Dispel or Negate[An] the Freedom[Ex] of Movement[Por]" by using his sword and hitting himself on the leg very slowly. So the only way for The Unknown to win, would be to tire Hrothgar and finish him off with a Kal Vas Flam and a Por Ort Grav, which means "Movement or Move[Por] of a Magic[Ort] Field[Grav]". And that's exactly what happend. Hrothgar had been beaten for the first time, and by an evil and sinister man on top of that. Not a hero, but a person who'd use the Black magic for his own greed.

To remember this battle, The Unknown, took Hrothgars sword, and ripped his face off, to wear it has a mask for himself... To be continued..."

First time I ever write a story, hope ya liked it Rawr!
Personality which will be RPed : Evil, never help anyone, always respond briefly and unkindly, greed for power, etc [more to be written as I continue this story]
RP item = Orcish Kin mask to replace my face [I should be able to wear a hat on top of it and skin hue [1171 = Daemon Steel], Part 2 coming in about 1-2 days]
Name in-game : I need a name change [woohoo, one of the 700's]
Send me a PM on the forum messaging system and I'll gladly arrange a "rendez-vous".
Good day.

Okay I searched for a while for a decent script in fishing. It doesn't take much effort, but it takes some common sense to use. For one I will explain the fishing skill gain I have so far.

30%-70% takes about 16-20 hours to achieve.

For 70%-75% So far it takes 30 minutes for a .25 skill gain. Averaging about 1Hour 10 minutes (roughly) for a 1. skill gain total.

More to come after I hit 75%

From 30%-70% you should have roughly 18000 fish steaks when using this script. On top of that you should also have roughly 2500 bandages from the boots being cut up aswell.

Fishing is fairly easy, you just need the open water.

For those that do not know the ship commands, I have made a thread containing them here: http://www.in-x.org/forums/showthread.php?t=2512

This fishing script will fish constantly, cut your fish up, cut the boots up, and when you reach a certain weight limit, it will stash the items into the hull when the boat is stopped or anchor is dropped. It is a very very helpful script.

Easy UO Fishing Trainer can be found here: http://www.easyuo.com/forum/viewtopic.ph...235#234235

You may need to register before downloading Easy UO and/or scripts, or even looking at the forums. I highly recommend this.

Issues with the script.

Moving forward even if its Slow Forward could be too fast for a fisherman. I suggest setting up a macro in razor for "If sys message sys Stop, say slow back"

This fishing script moves slow foward and then stops. But it fishes in the same spot over and over, giving you no more fish. I suggest you are always moving, and it be backwards instead of forwards, the speed is much slower.

Remember, Slow Back. If you have any questions regarding this, I can speak to you in private about it. I would much rather personally answer questions in a live chat than on a wait for post style.

You little whining babies who do nothing than badmouthing the shard should really piss off.. You whine and cry on the forums ALL the time. And yet you log in 10+ hours each day...Rolleyes

If i where an Admin i would ban you all.. .seriously i would.. I might loose some players, but the players i would have left would be the ones i wanted to play on my shard.

Statements like "The shard has nothing to offer" and others are getting damn annoying.

You make the game the way you want it. You want more PvP ? Start up a "fightclub" like Bart did.
You want more quests? Make a player run quest. I'm 100% sure that the staff will help you out.

Instead it sounds like you want a staff to log in and hold you hand and babysit all the time.

Of cause theres some issues that needs to be looked on.. But this isn't a "Done" shard. Its a shard in beta and with some coders missing. So granted things take slower to make atm.
*kicks Maka*

Again, and I've said this a million times. If you don't find the shard to your liking as it is now, take a brake. Go back to playing WoW for 6 months and try the shard again after that.

You all whined about how they should open the shard.. They did.. Now you all whine about the fact that its open and still have some gameplay flaws Rolleyes

No one is holding you here.. Your free too leave for awhile...
But you still log in to play don't you?

I know a few who left for awhile until the shard was more to their liking. But they sure as hell didn't come to the forums trying to get some attention.

I don't think you realize how much your attitude have a negative impact on the staff. Again why do you think Maka is no where to be seen on the forum?

Now i know your not reading this going "Ohh yeah, he is right. I didn't really think about it." Instead you will just whine and cry even more..But please just think about it.

I hated WOW, so i quit it. I didn't stay on their forum or whatever to tell everyone how much i hated it.

*BTW this is only for the ones who keep crying about shard being crap*

We need more risk to fishing. I have gone from 30% to 71% in a couple days now, and I have hardly had an encounter with monsters. The only real contact with monsters I have had were the ones I used a special fishing net to draw up. As of right now, there is almost 0% risk involved with deep sea fishing. There are only 3 monster types that I have seen so far aswell. They are: sea serpents, deep sea serpents, water elementals and a kraken. The krakens aren't even worth the fight except for rope and special fishing nets. There should be a higher amount of spawns in the sea, as well as, more monsters to fight. More rares should be obtainable from fishing aswell, but with a very low success rate of finding, giving the decorations a value. Rope as of now, its very common. Special fishing nets are common aswell. Decorations should be hard to obtain, and have a decent sale value to them. This gives a fisherman or a Pirate rper the chance to make money and enjoy his trade at the same time. There should be more fish to find aswell. The same fish over and over is pretty boring. Maybe we could fight an occasional octupi, or maybe a king star fish, baby star fish, lord star fish, etc. The possibilities are endless.

These are just some thoughts for right now. I will add more.

The highest priority, is making fishing deco items work again, then give more risk to it. But I would implement both at the same time. :/ Just some thoughts.

The server has been up 40+ days. I understand people macroing, the skills are slow. I have just seen people macroing in their house, Britain bank, or mining. After everyone has their "Portion" of skills to pvp/gank with, will the action step up?, or will it be like this, "a firework dud"? I am not meaning to sound negative, and I have seen some good battles at Britain bridge before, also in Occlo as well. But I am figuring some players has their pvp skills, just their trying to gm all skills possible. I am asking this, I don't want to be playing a shard that is action less, I played those before, not a fun server at all, and the staff holds great events, maybe later, host some monster bashes/quest? I also understand, some people maybe dislikes this PvP, you might of liked IN pvp better, which you gotten 100% used to, and having to switch.

What do you think the action part of this server be like?In 40 days later? Will you think it will be tough to find action? or do you think just walking outside Britain Bridge, and seeing spamming and a lot of guilds duking it out? "Post your answers"
