I just wanted to say that tonight ranks up there with the best event nights ever. The CTF was a lot of fun and even though Death By Dice is entirely random, it was very enjoyable! The random quest was fun too!

Very well run. All it needs is a 1v1rep (with less mouth Wink) and it would've been perfect. Model other events like tonight.

Ok so this Sunday we have 2 big surprises for you!

The new weapons will be craftable!
12 new weapons will be craftable, 6 of them will require you to do a quest (1 quest for each weapon = 6 quests) and learn a recipe before you can craft them while the other ones you can craft as soon as you get the ingredients (and have the required skills of course).
These quests will be static, meaning anyone will be able to do them at any time given. You will get more information about these quests on Sunday Wink

Out with the old sphere-school craft menu
And in with the AoS craft menu.
This will make it much easier for crafters to create their items and you will also be able to see all ingredients and how much chance you have of creating an item.
We have tested it for bugs but there might still be some, so please let us know if you find any.

These 2 changes, along with a bunch of other ones will be added this Sunday after restart. I hope you will enjoy them Wink

  Items "out of sight" in treasure chest

I've experienced a couple of occurrences where a treasure chest for a prisoner camp was visible, and I could untrap it and unlock it. However, when I tried to get items out of it I would get a "That is out of sight" message and my client crashes.

I paged to report the specific chest that I was having trouble with, but didn't get a response.

From now on we are going to have a template to work from when we jail players.
Obviously, circumstances won't be the same everytime, but we will at the very least have some guidelines.

Offence: Excessive swearing
Punishment: 1 day in jail

Offence: Harassing other players / ruining RP / Cursing at staff
Punishment: 2 days in jail

Offence: Disrupting event
Punishment: 2 days in jail

Offence: Advertising for other shards
Punishment: 3 days in jail, if the person has created an account just to advertise then ban.

Offence: Impersonating a staff member
Punishment: 3 days in jail

Offence: Exploiting bugs
Punishment: Depending on how serious the bug is, but 2-7 days in jail

Offence: Using multiple accounts
Punishment: Banning of the other accounts, 5 days in jail for the main account


These are just for the first time offenders.
For each time you are jailed the time doubles. That means if you use multiple accounts 3 times you will get 5 days the first time, 10 days the second time and 20 days the third time.

But keep in mind that these are only guidelines, every staff member has the right to increase or decrease the jailtime if they deem it necessary. We will try to stick by these jailtimes as much as we can though.
If you feel you have been treated unfairly then contact me and I will look into it.

Also, jailings before 2008-10-07 are ignored which means if you get jailed tomorrow it counts as your first jailtime, even if you have been in jail before.

Oh and just as before, I reserve the right to ban anyone at any time Wink

Well, I was on the vendor mall today and I saw some items that I wish to buy, but I want to negociate the item... But I dont know whos vendor is that so I got an idea like this, show verdors name like:

Vendor Name[Owners name]

or when you clik it:

Vendor name
Owner name (separated)
