ji was traveling now about two years all over the lands and coming back
there where i was leaving long time ago, ji hope Daemon guildhouse is still near Vampires place and maybe ji saw some of my friend's in SH.

  Christmas Without Decorations

I had a wondrous idea this year, to keep my Christmas tree outside so all could see. My plan was to decorate it and then move it to a prime location where everyone could see it in all its glory. However as soon as I finished it, I decided it was time for a little break and as I sat on my porch evil reindeer ran past swiping my ornaments!!! These were no ordinary reindeer, mainly because they are jerks, they seemed to have great speed and quite a bit of strength.

I wasn't too upset over this though, they only managed to get the lower ornaments. So the next day I decided to decorate the bottom half of the tree again but it turns out they had the same diabolical plan! This went on for about a week and now I am turning to you for help. The last of my ornaments have been stolen today and I need some retrieved.

In one week or so, I will award 3 people who bring me the most of my decorations back. Of course since they took more then I needed, they don't all have to be returned. Feel free to pocket a few for your own decorating as well. I estimate that 70 ornaments have been taken, so all who are interested get to searching! I think it will be impossible to find more then 10 a day though, which is why I will give everyone about a week to collect them. Chances are that the reindeer still have them but some may have dropped while they were running away.

Wow, it turns out as I was writing this post a baby reindeer ran off with one of my other decorations! Now my door looks naked, my poor green door. I think I will move after the holidays... Bah if you get what the baby reindeer took you can have it! That just made me lose my Christmas spirit. Stupid wannabe deer...

shade was testing out new monsters with players last night.... when you kill the slime creature the 3rd and final time the server will crash...

just now, when i log in i was right next to one, and it followed me in brit and the guards killed it and server crashed again :/

  New Quests Available

Today we have added some classic quests along with something new. Some of you may be familiar with the Witch's Apprentice, Ambitious Solen Queen, Collector, and Naturalist quests. These quests are now up and running! Of course since we added the solen quests, the solen hives are now open as well.

For those who have not done these classic quests, take a few moments to try them out as they are quite fun and add something new to the game play.

First off the Witch's Apprentice Quest: This quest is to help a grumpy old hag retrieve her stolen recipes. However as the quest unfolds you find yourself doing more then you would have first assumed. The old hag seems to live in the wreckage of an old home. Doesn't seem to be too far from Britain either. I wonder what an old witch would offer as a reward?

Ambitious Solen Queen: One of the queens roaming the solen hives is trying to guarantee her promotion to matriarch in the near future. She is looking for someone who does not mind getting their hands dirty. Of course this could anger the beasts that live below. Will you take on such a risky task?

The Collector Quest: A short minded business man seems to have mistaken you as an old friend. He willingly offers you a job with the utmost trust, thinking that your history with him goes way back, though you just met him. He wants you to run just a few simple errands, nothing more then that... I promise? This confused old man is often spotted drinking away his time at his favorite inn.

The Naturalist Quest: A typical researcher of all things has set his focus on the solens lately. His interest peeked as he learned about how they breed. Now he needs someone brave enough to take on the task of doing his research for him in the dangerous underground solen hives. He seems like the type that may even reward you with a unique surprise.

Now for a new quest, The Quest of the Magical Sextant.
This quest starts off by finding an old sailor by the name of Finlor. It seems though he isn't quite the pirate he once was, he still is always lurking near towns with beautiful shorelines. As the quest starts off he explains of a mgic item he is willing to craft for you, a magical sextant. All he wants in return is a few simple seaworthy treasures, fair trade I'd say. Oh did I mention you will also have to find a few special ingredients so he can craft it for you? Im sure I did... Well as you travel on you will run into his old seafaring friends, each with something you need. Of course these men aren't always so generous as to hand over their treasures free of charge. Seems the pirate life pays well, so they do not gold but instead a few simple tasks here and there. Of course once your job is completely done you may need to take a nap before using your magical (and awesome) sextant.

  No summons in town

I've been playing for a pretty long time now, and I have been recently logging on more.

I noticed just today that there is no summons allowed in any guarded area, may I ask.. why?
I'm sure someone will respond '' we don't want people to kill afkers '', and before you even say that. The point of towns is the risk, without the risk you basically just have another Pits, people who want to hide in complete safety.

I just think that there is no point in not allowing summons in town when we already have the pit's, It would be nice to have alittle bit of fun in town, joking or not. This takes out a lot of the freedom this shard is supposed to have.

When My human companion Vicious was Captured, he over heard what became a 'lead' to the whereabouts and location of the Ancient leader of Plague.
I have been seeking The leader of the Nosferatu for months now and...
Still nothing. We've torn that cave inside out.

We decided to search the cave one last time, for revenge, to fulfill the oath we took together.

Vicious was 15 or 20 paces behind me and My torch had gone out. It was Darkness, Black. I then felt swift air come up from my feet, and the floor drop out from under me. It was cool and damp, and a steep slope I was going down. Vicious was calling out, and I screamed for him. Never to see him again.

When the slope came to a stop, I was spit out into what looked like another world. It was bright and snow was falling, and the ground was a couple hundred yards away. There was a group of what looked like humans below me.. They had obviously been expecting me.

Upon landing, It felt like I broke every bone in my body. I couldn't move. I could barely see Black and Blur, and snarls is all I heard. Two men were ordered to lift me up, I screamed in pain. They held me up, in front of who was obviously the leader. They were clearly not human. Whatever they were, the leader was staring me down in the eyes and spoke, "I have been expecting you Darken". I was confused.

I began having flashbacks, of pain and pleasure. Family and friends. Times of war and times of peace. It felt like my head exploded when I started to see blurs again..but then they slowly focused. I began crying out. The 'man' before me was no man, he was the Leader of the Nosferatu. He was, My Father. I felt Lethargic. It made no sense, but thinking in shades of gray, it made PERFECT SENSE.

I knew this was the end.

He demanded, "You are no longer my son. "But a threat to my throne". "I'm sorry". He spoke something in a tongue, I didn't quite understand. And a bag flew over my head, and a Stake drove into my heart....
And that was it.

I am nothing but a wondering soul, a pile of dust. Lost in the lands to be forever forgotten. My mother's Amulet fell off of my neck, and sunk into what was left of me. Ashes. I was beginning to enjoy the urges I was feeling, being plagued, my hunger. It was all taken away with a swift blow, then it all came clear, and I was re leaved of the darkness and torment that had haunted me. I was especially glad of the after-life ahead. Never to be bothered again.

It was the end of Darken....


Or was it?


I began wandering around, and continue to wander as a helpless soul, through the lands I have always wanted to travel, but have never seen. I have seen places that are so Beautiful, places that should be ripped off the face of the world. Places of Honesty, and places of Chaos.
