Dread....the feeling of dread is all I remember.

Like a baby taken from it's mother's womb and left to die in the cold....shrieking...hoping for someone anyone to come to rescue it......sometimes death is the best choice...

How can life be so full of evil and death be such a bliss?

These were the questions that roamed my mind when I was first bound to my contract.....a contract with the Devil.

Aeorox as he was known stood as a looming shadow over the corpse of yet another innocent victim, who without feelings or remorse had slaughter.

"I must have some of your soul for my payments...I am not going back there!" Aeorox murmured to himself.

For Aeorox, killing had become a necessity, a core and his only way to stay out of hell.

The contract was quite simple, supply the devil with souls preferably of those whose souls weren't already tainted by darkness. As long as the devil was pleased with the amount of souls Aeorox claimed in his name, Aeorox was to be kept alive. If a day should come where Aeorox couldn't keep his end of the bargain, it would mean rest of eternity in hell for him.

"I claim this soul in the name of the devil!"
Aeorox shouted as he took the heart of his victim in one hand and a what looked like a human skull in the other.

As the words uttered left the lips of Aeorox an ancient magic made both the skull and the heart glow. The skull's glow became stronger as the glow of the victims heart faded....the deed was done, another payment completed.

"I need to kill more....more death....for my survival"
Aeorox muttered

"If I kill enough maybe the Devil will let me go...."

"Or maybe if I kill people and keep their hearts I will have payments ready if....if he should become angry"

Aeorox looked at his bloody weapon has he cleansed it in a small stream...

"the blood goes away...like it was never there..."

Aeorox felt a burning in his chest and a pain unimaginable by any mortal standard.

"NO !...No !.... no !.......not again..."

Before Aeorox stood a cloaked figure...from the thin air he had been conjured.

"You know the price.....now on with your work!...or do you want to go back?!"

The cloaked figure hissed, his every pronunciation spitting fire from his mouth.

"NO!....I will do what you want....this is nothing compared to the alternative"

Aeorox spoke with hatred, as he looked at the cloaked figure.

"I am glad you see it that way....this means that we can all be happy with our little arrangement."

The cloaked figure vanished as he had been conjured, and left Aeorox once again alone by the stream.

Aeorox picked up his weapon from the ground and prepared his equipment....

more people would die tonight....families would loose a member, if they were lucky enough to escape themselves....

Next day the town crier shouted!


"Another family murdered!....lock your doors and stay inside!....He might be coming for you tonight!"

“Another round for me mate and I” Satan says to the bar keep as he slams a few coins down on the table finishing the foam of an ale, “ Thank Ye Sir here’s a coin for Ye troubles, seems these dark times are troublesome for everyone mate” . The bar keep sits another mug of ale down in front of Satan he picks it up and as he takes a swallow the Tavern door opens and bangs against the wall the cold wind blowing from outside brings in the scent of the unforgiving sea as a tall man walks through the door the tavern gets quiet except for the whispers of drunken whores.

The man looks around the tavern as if he had lost something here; he steps towards the bar and takes a seat next to Satan. [COLOR="yellow"]“What will ye be having mate?”[/COLOR] says the barkeep as the man sits down “RUM” he grumbles as he pulls his hair from his face “RUM and keep it coming ye scurvy dog “the man takes a few drinks of the rum and looks over at Satan and says “do ye think me pretty mate or would ye like to indulge in this bottle of rum mate???” And he replies as he grins “yes kind sir I will Drink with you mate although ye surely aren’t the prettiest I’ve seen in my travels!!!” “Arggg ga ga ga” he laughs as he chugs some rum. Satan wipes the rum from his lips with the sleeve of his shirt and says “it seems the sea has troubled another soul what be ye name????” the man raises his head and clears his throat “Me name??? “ “Well that would be Pratorian and what scurvy dog do I owe an Introduction??????” He said with a stern tone… Satan grins “ I be Satan and I hail from Papua I be a sailor seeking employment upon the deep blue ” he drinks from his mug then Pratorian says “I believe mighty Poseidon has graced is enough to place her together mate! I am looking for a crew to sail under me and my new ship!!!!” [/COLOR[COLOR="Red"]]“Well sir I be the one to fulfill ye quest for a First Mate I been sailing the seas for over Four score now Sir!!” Satan Proclaimed with his chest bulged out “If ye sail with me and be me first mate I will give ye 25 percent of me plunders!!” Pratorian claimed, “We have an accord sir I will sail under ye colors for as long as Poseidon sees it fit!” Satan agrees. The two men slam the mugs of rum together and shake each other’s hand. They leave the bar only to recruit the most evil and despicable men that ever sailed the seas of Britannia. They sailed for years together pillaging, raping, and killing everyone and everything on their path.


Years later after the day they met 20 years to the exact day, the seas had finally had enough of Pratorian and Satan’s wrong doings as them and their crew had succumb to the scurvy, the disease that has destroyed many sailors over the years. As they both lye in the captains quarters, and all of the crew outside ready to plunge into the sea because of the madness the scurvy brings with it, knowing that they are doomed any time to be taken down to Davey Jones locker they speak to each other. “Sir it has been me honors to sail with ye this past 20 years if we only had more time I think we could make a better mends with Poseidon!” Satan says as he coughs of some scurvy slime, “I think they be not a better fist mate me friend I wish will could sail an eternity together” Pratorian claims as a loud splash and screams are herd coming from the deck. All of the sudden water starts leaking around the cabin doors more and more as time passes then BOOM in burst a Man not of human or fish like but both!!


It was mighty Poseidon King of the Seas!! He speaks in an almost evil angelic voice “You both and your crew have raided my seas long enough without any consequences and know ye both are on your death bed and are second thinking all the bad things you have done!!! Well now it’s time for you to repay your sins and sail for me King of the Seas!!!!!” [/COLOR[COLOR="Navy"]]“But we be cursed with the plague O King of The Seas we not be able to sail for ye anymore we have not much time left!” Cpt. Pratorian Claims as he coughs up more slimy filth, “I will make an offer to you, you sail my seas and rid it of any evil what so be it: Monsters, Sea Creatures, and evil men and I will grant ye Eternal Life!!! SO will yes sail under me bearing my colors and rid my seas of the evil that dwells it?” Poseidon Claims, “Please Captain take his offer we could live forever I wish not to die on this gloomy day sir” Satan says, “Aye! Your right Mr. Satan, You have an accord oh King of The Seas we will sail for ye for the rest of eternity!!!” Pratorian agrees, Poseidon Chuckles “Ha It’s a done deal you will sail for me bearing the Black Hand so all those that dare rape pillage and plunder will know what comes of it!!!” Poseidon raises his trident in the air and casts a spell on the crew.

They wake up on a ship bearing a sail with a Black Hand on it! “Argh are we dead sir?” Satan says as he still is coughing up filth, him the captain and the crew skin looks as if they had been dead for a while lifeless and grey with the likeness of scurvy eating at their flesh and all of their eyes glowing red as if fire itself was in their eyes, “Aye I don’t know Mr. Satan we still be cursed with the scurvy we were supposed to live forever that was the deal!” Pratorian proclaims. “Ye did agree to live forever but ye never said anything about not having the scurvy hahaha that be ye curse for all your sins” Poseidon says as he comes out of the sea “But King of the Seas we must sail this way for all eternity?” Satan says, “Ye will sail for me with the scurvy as long as I sees fit!!!!!” Poseidon raises his trident as he disappears into the ocean. The cursed sailors start their voyage to raid the seas but not for plunder or booty but of evil to make it an s safe place for all! But before they can conquer the seas Captain Pratorian and his crew must the likes of land lovers and dry land as they set sail for the lands of Britannia.

“Well Mr. Satan we where should we sail on our first journey to free the land lovers of evil doers, I don’t want to be cursed with this scurvy for all of eternity so we best be pleasing Poseidon so he will free us of this cursed scurvy.” Captain Pratorian says, as he tells the cursed crew to man the deck and get ready to set sail! ”We should head to Serpents Hold I know some nasty Vampires who never seem to get their fill of human blood mate!” Satan says. “Aye Mate!, we shall set sail to Serpents Hold to cleanse it of evil doers, set sail ye scurvy dogs north to Serpents Hold, God Speed!”


Im requesting tattered pirate clothes and greyish like skin color, ill justify in game thanks!!!!

I am experiencing the following problems and wondering if everyone else does aswell?

With the provided 3 inj clients available.

Both of those clients are missing ground tiles and don't load all the ground tiles correctly ?

This client crashes when using alchemy gumps ? havent tested any other... It still freezes even when I destroy gumps.

Why is it not possible to decorate around your house?
Normally there is one tile outside the house were you can place stuff.. lanterns and other deco, makes it real beautiful to explore.

Also i find that the decoration possibilities are somehow reduced due to the amount of items that actualy are flipable, i mean you cant even flip a log, so it turns into a pile, wich opens up for great decoration possibilities. (just an example, i found a lot of items that arent flipable for some reason)
can't you just add the .xflip otion from gm's to the deco tool Tongue?

Is it an restriction in RUnUO? or why is it made like that? (i am not complaining, just wondering why it is like that)

i will show skills i have when i hunt and why i do, what items and so i use, "tactics" on monsters etc..


[SIZE="4"]Skills[/SIZE]

archery- good to shoot from a distant range (duh)

tactics- increases chance to hit (?)

swordsmanship, fencing- sometimes i like to hit with bardiches or poison non magic monsters with my dagger

all bard's skills- good to make dragons or so attack each other, note difficult monsters cant be discorded or peacemaked but they might have minions around them who are annoying and those are provokable

magery, anatomy, evaluating intelligence,resist,healing-magic heal,extra protection, bandage usage, ressing, good for healing + recall or reflect etc..

hiding/stealth- good to hide and plan your next move and can be a lifesaver if many are attacking you (make so monsters can't target you or see you and you can hide and they forget you)*

animal lore- good one! you can see hp/mana of enemy, note if you're hiding you get revealed

poisoning- to poison dagger :badgrin: too bad strong monsters can cast cure :mad:

*= some crazy monsters still attack you and cast magic and wait for you to show up even if you're hidden :eek:
[SIZE="4"]items[/SIZE] (i will try to cover all items i use)

regs, aids- about 100 of each, use spells and heal/res urself or someone

a few scrolls for pvping, you never know who you might encounter, gh scrolls can be a lifesaver

mana/gh pots- to refill mana quickly or heal if attacked hard

ride- you need to move fast

extra shrinked ride in backpack- if you died and your mount got killed, and you manage to loot your body

elven bow- pretty good for hunting, i havn't hunted with other bows though
and 400+ arrows

silver weapons- hurt undead and make them wish they never came back from the dead

150 blade spirits scrolls, to distract stronger enemies or hold of weaker and kill them, or cast plentifull on strong enemies combined with ev's to make a good effect

50+ ev scrolls- very efficient against stronger dragons (as long as they can't dispel)

instrument- to be able to use bardic skills


and now... what i do against the harder monsters and what they drop in loot! note that loots don't allways drop on every kill. i wont write every single loot, only the ones i think are worth something

lets start with xtremes:

Ogre- cast 2-3 ev's, shoot with bow until he is dead and gone.. poor ugly thing.. loot- random silver crystal, 1k-2k, power wep i think, otherwise force, xtreme ar parts

liche- 2 ev's max, sometimes even 1 and shoot them to death. loot- 1-2k, random silver, xtreme ar parts

skeleton- i really don't bother hunting these since loot sucks and they are pretty strong, almost as ogres.. however, 2 ev's, plus hitting it with arrows or melee. loot- xtreme parts, 1k

dragon- my favorite. 4-6 ev's and shooting with bow is a good method, takes me around 3-5 mins to kill one alone. loot- around 4k, random silver wep, power weps, xtreme parts

now to ultimates! :eek:

destard guardian- 30+ blade spirits combined with at least 15 ev's i don't recommend doing this alone, i never do since it's hard getting back if you die. loot- around 8-10k, random silver wep, random power wep, random vanq wep (yes accurate too)

crypt keeper- a bit weaker than than destard guardian so use above same method, however harder to reach due to mystery solving around this area. gm spirit speak required too. i usually kill it myself. loot- around 5k, random power or vanq, not sure if its accurate though

wrong guardian. the one you all fear! i have killed him, not alone though! i wont write any names but they can if they want to. i will write a guide on this one and make more guides on others and how to reach them later on, i have to sleep soon lol.

do this: you must be atleast 3 ppl. we were 3 who killed him. have LOTS of regs, wall of stone, poison wall scrolls are better than ev's on this one. have like 1k arrows, and maybe even 2 bows if one breaks.

as you are about to enter the iron maiden, hide and make sure you have magic reflect. you will see urself in the center of a room, not big, not small. there will be a gate a few steps to the south. the wrong guardian is here with a few minions. ur hidden so they wont see you, you got the "advantage"... one casts paralyse on the guardian, another one makes a wall infront of him. now he cant see you and cant do any harm for a while. kill the minions, they are shadow skeletons and pretty weak but every one gives like 50 arrows if i remember correct.

feeling ready?

Boss - Wrong guardians
HP- 5k, even more
Mana- 2k, even more

how to do:
throw wall of stone and form and x with him being in the middle of the x. now make sure he can't see you, if he does he can teleport to you or, if i remember correct, even suck you in to him! insta death :evil:
anyways, time to throw poison wall on him and watch him drain his mana while casting cure all the time, if u want u can cast blade spirits for minimum damage and he will cast dispell and waste more mana. i tried shooting him with arrows but he seemed to be smarter and teleported to me and killed me. a smart idea is if one is hiding and waiting for someone to die, so you can ress them. just repeat with the walls and make sure he is stuck there until he dies, remember to make him paralyzed before you cast walls. now for the good part

LOOT- 25k, vanq weps, power weps, random silver wep crystal

hope this helped, this is just a "quicky" guide, i'll try to update it soon!
