On the outskirts of Britain I ran in the night my hopes of immortality fade. The search has continued for a month straight without rest, and still few signs of my illusive subject. The world of immortality is open to those who can earn the right to it I had heard, if you were to successfully hunt a vampire and be bit, then you would live an enslaved life of immortality. My goal was this exactly, Immortality. On the 30th day of my treck into the wilderness I came across the illusive vampire. I kept on it's trail for the better part of an hour drenched from the rain. It seemed to be traveling further away from me without reason. Suddenly it ran off with incredible speed and agility hopping from tree to tree, branch to branch, escaping my line of sight. I grabbed my bow, and with one fell swoop pulled back the string and released an arrow to criple the creature. My skills tracking and hunting had prevailed. I had what I wanted, my goal in my sights. Immortality was close, but I still had yet to of been bit by the vampire. I approached my prey and prepaired to accept what I had to do. To achieve my greater goals I would have to provoke the vampire and convince it to bite me. For about two hours I spoke with the vampire, it seemed convinced it would not let me join the legion of the undead of which it had origenated. This vampire spoke to me about how I was not good enough to become one of the vampires, he said I was weak and he had only been caught because he misjudged how good I was with a bow. He had assumed he would be able to of escaped after I had fired a shot or two, when in reality I had took him down in one hit. I told the vampire of my goals to quench the thirst for blood I had, my bloodlust was strong and had grown each day sense I had witnessed my family slaughtered by humans. I hated humans, even though I was one. They argued, fought, harassed, and destroyed eachother. It was chaotic and uncontrolable. I wanted to become a vampire to become immortal and avenge the death of my family by taking it out on the human race. After telling the vampire my chaotic tale he gathered the strength to strand on his cripled leg and approached me. I remember his words exactly. He said in a strong firm voice, "If that is what you truely desire, then I shall grant you your wish." I had finally achieved my goal, the vampires teeth sank deeply into my neck and blood began to trickle down my neck and back. The hunt had begun. Mankind could not exist and would eventually wipe itself and everything else on the planet out, I felt only I could prevent it, and so my quest to clense the land of all mankind began. No one soul was safe from my wrath.



My character in game is Jon Doe, and I am attempting to get a ( Skin dye ), and ( "Vampire Robe" or basicly a deathrobe )


please tell me how you like the story I will continue to improve it, and the plot will get stronger and more detailed along the lines.

  Easy Uo (Need help please)

Hello everyone. I have recently downloaded the latest version of Easy UO.

I have all the required files to play on IN shard, including the login.cfg and the client 5.0.8 that is provided in the downloads section.

I run my Easy UO program thinking, wow so cute nice cuddly and user friendly. Boy was I wrong.

I click on the UOXL tab and go to start client from:

I then browse in my UO directory, select the client provided from the downloads section(mind you I have already installed all the appropriate files into the UO directory)

I select the correct client, execute it, then enter my password as my username is already saved since it is the same client I use with razor.

I am then stuck on :Verifying Account: with no further results.

I have tried this with and without razor, and I am still clueless as to how I am supposed to obtain the results I am searching for.

Someone please help me.

i rly didn't want to do this but after 3 days and 6 pages, only one of them has been answered and that was after half an hour.. i thought the reason you had one billion staff members from one million different time zones was so that there should be at least one on at any time right? been trying to get a hold of a gm all fkn day but nono.. and i hate it that some of u go afk logged in, this gives us hope since it doesnt say noone is on to answer the page..

This is a follow the clues quest. Find each location and say the appropriate word to be shown the next clue. First three people to the end will receive prizes.

PVP and Looting are allowed as the quest locations can be anywhere in the world.

I would like to announce that we're now selling static housing. This is how it will work:

Static housing will cost roughly 3k per tile. This will vary a bit depending on location/quality of the building etc. Here is an example:

SIN's static house in Serpent's Hold on IN1.

16x24 tiles is the size. 16 x 24 = 384. There are 2 floors. 384 x 2 = 768.
Therefore there are 768 tiles. 768 x 3,000 = 2,304,000 gold. Thats about 2.3 million.

To go about purchasing a static contact Vulcan, preferrably by PMing him on the forums. Please do not ask him exactly how much a static will cost unless you are truly interested in the static and can afford it. As stated above you can find out roughly how much they will cost by calculating how many tiles it contains.

Additional points:

Statics inside guarded areas are only for sale if you plan to make it public.
Every other static in the world is potentially for sale (at the right price).

I will also include the following purchasable items. Page a GM for these items unless noted otherwise.

Guild door: 100k
Regular locked doors: 30k
Guildcontainer (container only usable by guildmembers): 50k
Teleporter to castle roof: 250k
Teleporter to keep roof: 150k
Teleporter to corner tower of castle/keep: 30k
Arbitrary teleporter within your house: 50k (we do not sell teleporters between buildings)

And on another note:

I have made several tweaks to loot along with other bugfixes and tweaks. I will restart the server on Sunday evening and all changes should take effect then. Please bare with us that some stuff might take a while to fix, but we are short on devs at the moment (I am the only one scripting). I am currently in contact with two persons that might be able to help out with scripting though. Changes will be made to help the economy such as GM crafted items sell for more. It might just take some time since I cannot fix it myself.

Make them where that cannot move... People are abusing it by gating the bankers to ungauarded mines or random places. Lock them so people can't abuse them.

Im glad the GMs are hosting events but the 1v1 stuff is getting kinda old. All ive seen theses past weeks are 1v1 autosupply and 1v1 not loot, doesnt this get kinda boring? I havent seen any other events and theres tons on your website. It would be nice for a change to see capture the flag or ffa or even a clever mania. Here are some other events.

Mining Quests
Once you obtain a grandmaster skill in mining you will beable to speak with a mining quest master who shall teach you how to mine rare ores. To learn the secrets of mining the 5 rarest ores you will have to partake in the tasks the quest master asks of you. Each of the 5 rarest ores has a separate quest each and upon completion the quest master shall teach you the art of mining that ore.

Artifact Hunts
At some point the citizens of the world may be called upon to help a mythic figure collect artifacts spread around the world in randomized locations. While no clues to their whereabouts are given, the rewards are indeed worth the time and risk to search the world for them. The person who finds the most artifacts will usually be rewarded with a grand prize. This event is usually story based and will be posted in our forums.

Russian Roulette
This is a very simple, easy, and fun event and is a game based solely on luck. Two players will be placed in an arena in front of them are 6 identical bottles to drink from, 5 are normal harmless bottles which will do nothing, however the 6th will instantly kill the player when they drink it. Rules are simple the players take turns drinking the bottles and the person who survives wins.

Bagball
For those who do not know what Bagball is it is basically Ultima Online football. You have a Bagball which is somewhat like a football in the middle of an arena and Two teams of Three players at each end of the arena. The game is fairly simple, the players have to work as a team to get the ball across their team’s line, the only problem is you simply cannot pick up the ball and put it in your backpack as the weight of the ball itself is far too heavy for anyone to carry so you must rely on team work to pick up the ball and drop it at a location around yourself so that another team member can grab it and do the same until you reach your goal line. The other team at this point will try to do the same and will try to intercept the Bagball in order to score. The first team to score Three points is the winner.

The Torture Chamber
This event is that it is a free for all Tournament set in a large arena filled with traps and monsters. The winner is the last man standing and being people can either be killed by traps, other players, or the monsters makes it more challenging. One of the monsters in the Torture Chamber will be the Torturer and he will have a special item on him that if the winner obtains, will get to keep at the end of the event. Players only receive a basic care package when they enter the arena which will consist of platemail, two random weapons and a few bandages. Items like reagents and weapons and armor higher from
the basic package will have to be looted from monsters and other players so teamwork between all the combatants is encouraged upon entering the arena however it is up to you when you turn on your opponents as it is the last person standing who will win.

Cleaver Mania
Similar to the Torture Chamber this event pits you against every other combatant in a free for all battle. Combatants enter the arena and are armed only with a cleaver, some clothing, five bandages, and some heal and explosion potions. All the combatants fight in a small arena filled with traps and the last person standing wins. The arena also contains some heal potion and explosion spawns and the players can loot others of their cleaver mania items to use against the other combatants. The event has three rounds with the winners of round one and two fighting in round three to declare the overall winner.

The Gauntlet
The Gauntlet is a series of walkways filled with the vilest and hated monsters to roam the lands. The idea is to walk or run the Gauntlet avoiding death from not only the monsters but the traps that lay hidden throughout it. No one has conquered the gauntlet but the prize at the end is said to be great.

The Golden Coin Casino
Located just outside the city of Britain in the old watch tower is the Golden Coin Casino. The casino hosts numerous games of chance for the people of the world to play and hopefully win. Players also have the opportunity to host their own gambling events here also. Beware however as the casino is not guarded and some may find their winnings taken from them by murders or thieves.

Capture The Flag:
Objective: To capture the opponent’s flag located in their base to gain points while protecting yours.
Prize: One team tournament ticket.
Description: CTF is a team event with two methods to score; killing a player on the other team, which will give your team 2 points, or to capture the other teams flag and return it to yours, which will give your team 15 points.
