hey, first of I am sorry to see the population of the shard has changed so drastically. Remembering In2 I believe that this shard is one of the best. And just to put my two cents in, no please don't make skill gain any easier.

Now on to my question. I am using a Mac OS X and I just installed Wine. I can play Stygian ***** with some major hassle (I need to patch in a windows application and then put the files in my Mac). I can play moundain's legacy with a much greater ease. Is it absolutely necessary that I have stygians ***** or does this shard only run up to moundain's legacy?

I've been checking daily for a few weeks now and the average number of clients is at 9. It seems like the shard is barely kicking. The summer is coming up and that means some free time. But really, how much longer can the shard last?

Are there going to be some drastic changes made in an attempt to bring in new players? UO sounds fun again, but it really doesn't seem like it would be much fun playing with just 9 players.

Something needs to be done, and fast!

I think it would be cool if players could rent a GM character and design a static house for themselves and then pay the staff based on the cost. I don't mean a player would tell a GM to place a wall from here to here, add a roof, add a decoration here, etc... I mean they log on a GM character and design the house themselves.

Of course the problem here is that GM characters have a lot of privilages and someone could cheat gold or items for themselves, or do other negative things to the shard, so for this idea to work Taran would need to create another level of staff character and limit their commands to only certain things like add, delete, etc. Or limit their powers to a certain area that a higher level staff member can mark off with a region flag. Is this possible?


The reason I am suggesting this is basically so people can make their own static houses since a lot of the nice ones are gone and of the ones that are left maybe someone won't like them. Having this kind of possibility would encourage someone to log on to hunt and earn money so they can make themselves a really cool static house that you can't make with the custom house presets.

As an example, I want to build the X-Men complex as a static house, and since it's pretty large and has an unusual shape I can't just place an 18x18 custom house and design it on there.

This is 3 time in 6 month that same dog jump one my boat.. fist time it whas front of someone house .. after that it jump off other island and later it jump back and get of other island.. now it show up again after 3 month next my boat and did it again How owns dog claim it... its banked now that not bother me again -.-'

I think that with 100 Magery I should have 0% chance to fail casting an EV UNLESS I change in or out of war mode, or try to cast another spell to fast, or do something like that. If I'm standing on a boat with only melee monsters nearby, there's no reason I should fizzle casting an EV and lose 20 mana.

I don't know if this has been changed yet, but I would like to bring this up again.

Please allow people to customize an already committed custom house without moving everything in the house into the moving container. If I want to change one room in my house I shouldn't have to replace everything on every floor.

The advantageous fact about this is that it will encourage people to make small changes to their custom houses since they know they don't have to go through the annoyance of replacing all their items.

If you've ever owned a custom house and had this happen to you I'm sure you know how annoying it is to place the hundreds of items you have decorating your house again.


If you don't like this idea, please clearly explain what you see wrong with it. If you like it please post agreeing so the staff can see I'm not the only one asking for this. Forum mods, if people start dragging this thread off topic please delete their posts. Thank you.
