  why afk?

why is everyone afk? i mean i see 38 players on and im betting 30 are afk and they arnt even macroing or at least it doesnt seem to appear like they are macroing they just seem afk, this seems to be constant problem

hey whats everybodys favorite parts of uo, and not just from this shard i mean in all your past experiances with uo what did you have the most fun doing, what did you look forward to, and what did you spend countless hours doing.

well i got a new dell with shitacular vista, then i killed vista (i found very hard to do) the replaced with xp (even harder for me to do) then i had to **** around with other things but the important thing is im back online Big Grin

Ladies and Gentlemen...

I have been playing for a month now, and all i can say that it is really boring the last 2 weeks...

I have just a few complaints and tips about IN-X

This is a 24/7 UO shard, wich should be "guarded" 24/7 by Gamemasters
What I mean about this, the gamemasters should not only help people with items or housing or bugs, but also try to lure people into "quests/party killing" (entirely for fun etc.)

The Pits.. Its a good idea to have a pits where people can meet eachother, but the stupid thing about the pits is that trading is not possible. So we have the Vendor Mall..My opinion about a Vendor Mall : It is not social at all! People do not interact anymore with eachother. Try to sell weapons or potions in town,, you simply get ignored 9 out of 10.

The playerbase.. I started an movie competition, and hardly anyone is responding or interested, the reason I tried to start a competition is to try to get more people on this shard.. but this looks like a failed mission for me..
I thought by having a really cool movie(commercial) on Youtube, maybe people would be interested in joining IN-X, but the problem is that we dont have an really good movie(yet)

The forums.. they look boring and for the last 24hours alsmost nobody posted anything in the General forums.. If you are active in game you should also post sometimes on the forums, just to keep things alive

The pvp/2vs2 games.. They are fun indeed.. for "enhanced" players.. for new people it is a NO GO area... I think that there should be a different type of game to lure people from all level of skills into! How about a massive Hunt just outside town without PVP or looting eachother is a perfect idea! This way people interact more with eachother, and then people are less bored!



These were my complaints and tips.. feel free to flame or to comment.. just dont wait to long.. because I have been thinking about leaving to...

I saw when we hit .on we can send a mensage to any player, but it comes like a red sys mensage and most of times people dont notice it.

So why dont delivery it in a mailbox and when you click on its open gump with all your messages. Than make a command like .mail

And for who disagree, make a option in .on that enable mailbox or red sys message.

And It go help when you need to talk to someone about in game bussines and he's afk so you need to try message him all day, with the mail box your message go stay saved to when he/she returns. Big Grin

  Player-initiated anti-macro gump

I wonder if it would be possible to implement a command that would allow a player to trigger an anti-macro check for another player. It seems like I frequently find people that are non-responsive when mining, and the anti-macro gump doesn't seem to occur frequently enough while mining to give them any concern.

So (in theory), if you suspect someone is afk resource-gathering, you could invoke this command. The system would do its normal check to verify they're actually gathering resources, and then display the anti-macro gump.

To prevent abuse, you could only allow a player to trigger one of these every hour or so.

is anybody else noticing this huge lag or is it just me? lately,ive been trying to log in and it takes like 2 minutes to log on, and it just freezes for like 2 minutes and then gets connection lost. some better days its playable, but on 800> ping. can anybody point in the right direction here or tell me wat to do? i see some people joinin tourneys when i cant even do one single step without getting connection lost, but everybody else says its laggy. im sure my internet connection is as good as it can be, same as my UO and my comp.

please? any comments?

I believe that every one should be aloud to pick a race if they feel... Its some what unfair in a certain way pvp or rp you should be aloud to pick if they want to be a different race it should not be based on rp or pvp . And if it were perhaps make certain races for just pvpers , and certain ones for rpers ....Its kinda like discrimination -.- ,and no people im not trying to be an ass just kinda curious what every one else feels about this subject . Well as allways thank you for your time . Oh and one more thing .
