Healing Failed
#13

I do re-equip but thats lot dmg I could be using to kill a mage thats constantly casting. and I have to stop hitting just to heal.

There's no one type of class PvP here, everyone is a mage/warrior :p so everyone can cast heal and hit equally

Also mages can meditate with Platemail armor on, sounds like an overall one sided fight to me.

No man everyone can wear platemail it's strength based :p your both a warrior and a mage in PvP there is no skill cap so you can use spells and hit with weapons and bandage whenever you like or how ever you like in this pvp

I am just going to start a character with magery so I can actually defend myself, I just hate dying with a warrior class. I understand I might have been being a little bit of a "jerk" when I was saying that warriors arent worth a damn. A pure warrior just isnt worth a damn in this PvP layout. I will find another way to make it work for me. Thanks for your posts and information.

There's no such thing as "classes" when there is no skillcap though. So trying to make a "pure" warrior is just gimping yourself.

I have been wondering over this subject (skill cap VS no skill cap) myself lately. Coming from a shard with 'classes' and skill caps I have to say that I was a little skeptical when I found out IN had no skill cap. However I have come to the conclusion that cap or no cap makes no difference, what really matters is that there must not be too big of an advantage from using one set of skills versus another. You can have a shard with classes and skill cap, but if one class clearly overpowers the others you can be sure that in the long run everyone will use that class. On the other hand, on a shard with no classes and no skill cap but no obvious advantage from using one set of skills versus others, players will end up using the skills for which they tend to have a personal preference, therefore producing more variety in the game.

Just my two cents

Maybe thats my problem, a long time ago I was so used to using a warrior PvP. Now there is no need. I guess I will have to adapt or die.

believe me i feel your pain, i used to love pvping as a swords warrior on aos no insurance. i've pretty much given up on pvp here, there is skill to it, but the skill is in the teamwork and fighting groups is a bastard. Whereas as a warrior i knew my class inside out and that made me good, when i learnt other classes inside out that made me awesome, my record was fighting 7vs1 and coming out top dog, sadly those days are gone and i dont think they are coming back.

Exactly, I used to crush mages dexxing, DP kryss's and all the unique stuff. All their mana went to healing and curing. Now Im left running and dying. Sad

I my self like having diff class types. But what I would really like to see here is that the more plate armor etc etc you have on the slower your mana will raise. Wizards dont run around in plate armor.
