I'm actually willing to change the way order/chaos shields work so it's just like it was on IN1, meaning anyone could equip any shield. But I also think that the AR is too high atm so I'd like to drop that.

I think the AR count is just fine actually... it's less than an invul heater by about 4, pretty reasonable IMO. Dropping the armor count of chaos shields less than 25 will make me not use them. Don't make them junk please.

26? They have 32 ar atm which is 2 less than heater shield of invul. But the chaos/order shields are cheap and newbied, big difference.

Yep, I was order when I was WoP, but can still equip the order shield now that I'm Daemon. Only thing that matters right now to be able to equip chaos/order shields is that you're in an aligned guild, doesn't matter what alignment.

I think it's weird to have a "Chaos Shield" whose model is made to have the emblem of the "Chaos Guild" be worn by anyone but Chaos Guild members; same with Order. It's even worse if you have Order guilds wearing Chaos shields and vice versa.

There are plenty of shield models available.

• Bucker Sheild
• Wooden Shield
• Kite Shield
• Wooden Kite Shield
• Metal Round Shield
• Bronze Shield (tear shaped)
• Bronze Shield (round)
• Cavalry Sheild (the coolest)
• Heater Shield
• Jeweled Shield
• Knight's Shield
• Leaf Shield

I don't think having two with conditions on them are too much to ask.

Or make them have negative effects. If you're neutral, you can equip either Order or Chaos shield, but it has weak armor.
If you're Chaos/Order and equip the opposite shield, it has zero armor.
This way you can wear a shield that you think looks pretty, but it keeps with the whole Order vs Chaos mythos.

I think neutral should be worn by anyone instead of choas/order shield. Just need a better looking neutral shield

Taran I checked out the armor ratings of both shields earlier today before I read your post and of course, you're right it is a 2 armor difference. The correct armor rating is indeed 32 which does seem a little high... What were you thinking of reducing it to?
