Hey all

I have a Question about the Lord title...

I was working hard to become Lord...because i always die once i got this far i post the GM's that i wanted a shield in color..

i got a message and it said i have to buy the shield at the casino in Britain..
so i did i bought the Chaos shield because i like this shield the most! when i wanted to hand the shield it says "you must be in a chaos or order guild to use this"

I hope we can change the "You must be in a order or chaos guild..." because its not fair for the people who are neutral and cannot use these items... IN1 was 1 shield a player and any color...

maby we could make it so that you have to GM parrying to hold the shield... or something like that..

these my 2 cents...

i hope this can be fixed in anyway...

Agreed on everything

I think those requirements aren't nice aswell. its IN! common! , the old IN also had when you turned Lord you could take both shield no matter if you were good or evil.

Hm I actually agree on this also. No matter what alignment you choose to be, you should be able to pick the shield you want. I personally hate the neutral and order shield...always loved the chaos shield.

Noone can decide on how these things should be. Here are the rules we finally came up with:

• Purchasable for 25,000 gold from the vendor in the Golden Casino
  
• You can purchase the shield at any level of fame
  
• You can only equip the shield for the first time if you have 10,000 fame
  
• Once you have equipped the shield once, you can always equip it
  
• You must be in the corresponding guild to equip the shield (Chaos/Order/Neutral)
  
• The shield is not renamed or recolored, but it can be dyed with a dye tub

It's not listed on the site, but if you have a neutral shield and decide to go chaos/order, I'm willing to change neutral to either, but not chaos<->order or order/chaos->neutral.

I understand there are rules.. but this is something that people like on the shard.. most of the people stay neutral to gain skill.. and it would be very very nice if it was like IN1 but we cannot decide.. i understand.. but maby we could vote? or adjust some rules

It would be nice to wear a Order shield even when I am neutral.. IN1 used to have no rules regarding these shields.. only that you needed to get + or - 10k of Fame/karma..
Also having spend days and hours to get the -10k or +10k fame, it was awsome waiting and getting nervous to see a GM popup in the middle of the night to give you that awsome present!

Missing that old feeling just happend to me right now.. as I read that I can go to the casino and just buy one... :-(

I don't like this idea, why should a chaos guild member wear an order shield, and vice versa? I understand you may like the look of one shield over another, so if that's the case just align your guild that way. I mean, they are called order shields and chaos shields...

The chaos and order shields *are* cooler looking. You can look cool and carry a fancy shield if you want to take the risk of joining a PVP guild. It's good for the shard's PVP and good for your paperdoll.

It would be nice to wear a Order shield even when I am neutral.

Benefits of the cool looking shield without the risk associated with it? Zombie Shade would come back to get me if I did that.

They shouldn't and won't. It goes against the whole idea of having a faction system if the only distinguishing characteristic (aside from name colors) is interchangeable.

I pop up all the time, though it's to turn people into pink ponies or spawn silly monsters instead of giving presents.
