Static

Jiraiya Wrote:It hasnt been like that for months now odium, static housing was switched to IN1 ruleset. I think none of the documentation was updated.
Plus theres already people, myself included, who have statics in towns. So you cant very well turn around and say they arent allowed again, what would ya do wipe the statics of everyone who bought one and spent months deco'ing etc.? 90% of available statics in game are in guarded towns anyway. I scoured the maps checking every town and every world building looking for possibilities for my statics, I came up with around 10 buildings I'd want in the 3-10m pricerange. Every one of them in non guarded area's was taken, and of those almost all the owners no longer played. So even buying from them would be impossible. However, inside towns there are a ton of great statics which can be used instead of sitting empty and worthless.

You were the first with an in-guards private static, as far as I know. You set the precident Big Grin

So you forgot Daemon Static in Nujelm... they had that first than us.. Its QiQi House, isnt even a guild house.

I Think it had to be IN way, dosnt matter if is in guarded area or not. At last for Guild House who chose be chaos/order, cause those guilds can be ganked any time even inside guard area without any problem.

I prefer Alzheimer than Parkinson. Better forget to pay the beer than pour it all.

I'm interested in large statics. What is the minimum bid for the following:

Empathy Abbey (Yew)
Trinsic Meeting Hall (Trinsic)
Magincia Parliment (Magincia)
Nujelm Palace (Nujelm) (including a lot of outside area walled off without access to keep the price reasonable)
THE ENTIRE CITY OF VESPER (Vesper, duh)

Will they be even remotely attainable without spending all the time saving and hoarding between now and the time the shard goes down?

Regards.

As for the statics... I was a bit off with the palace, the entire place would cost roughly 28 million. This includes the courtyard and garden.

The Trinsic meeting hall is next to a bank and you can bank from inside. I'm not really sure that's going to be for sale...

Empathy Abbey would be roughly 8.9 million. (no roof access)

Vulcan Wrote:Empathy Abbey (Guarded but can be changed) - 8m
Trinsic Meeting Hall (Guarded, Must be Public) - 8m
Magincia Parliment - 2.5m
Nujelm Palace (You have to purchase the entire outer wall, not just the building, plus its guarded so you'll have to check with Taran about this one) - 18m
The City of Vesper - Sexual Favors Galore and Every Rare Spawning Wine/Brew in the world. (I've only really seen players with 2 or 3 out of the many spawns that exist)

That dosnt come in case since Taran is already on it.

Thats correct I did. The first static purchased in town that was private was the love casino in jhelom, formerly jhelom library, Lederoil and myself put in the bid. Although it is only partially private, anyone can enter, but only key holders can get behind the bar. It was intended to be a rp'er hangout/bar but at the time there was only like 10 active players so that idea flopped due to lack of players/interest. May be reviving it soon if theres demand Smile

The second in town private static bought was Nujel'm Inn by QiQi.

The third was Inochi guildhouse which is the trinsic meeting hall. And no we cant bank from inside lol. Like sam said, we're order/chaos so any other order/chaos guildmembers can attack us at any time in guard zone town.

Also, if Vulcan was the GM in charge of selling statics, he should have mentioned something before now, its his job after all. Actually, come to think of it, hasn't he been gone for like 6 months? HMMMM
Anyway, Odium, you cant tell people they cannot buy private statics in guard zones now that several players from several guilds have them. The staff is left with two options, kick us out of our statics or change the rules officially and allow them.
Anything else would be favortism and I certainly dont want to see that.

I guess a 3rd option would be to allow them for order/chaos guildhouses only. Daemon and Inochi are both order/chaos.

Edit: One last thing,

Aparently, by Vulcans own words there, the rule was not set in stone. It seems from what he said there that it is at the discretion of the GM selling the static whether or not he/she would sell a guard zone house. Vulcan may not have been willing to do it for the trinsic place, but he was for the abbey and didnt seem opposed to nujel'm palace either. A different GM may have been against allowing the abbey but ok with trinsic. Just something to think about.

EDIT: Yeah its like 5 days later and I'm editing lol. Anyway there is one other option I totally forgot. Make trinsic and nujel'm unguarded. Or partially unguarded.
