I knew about this during the testing of it but this is how custom housing is supposed to be by default. I kind of always thought it was the balance to how house deeds cannot be resold for full price so there should be a minor loss with custom houses as well.
On the other hand, it is annoying when you realize you messed up a single tile and have to pay to fix it. Especially when after fixing that one tile you commit and notice one more. I guess it all comes down to being careful with your builds. Fixing a problem with a house is never cheap.

Paying 2500g for that change is minor compared to realizing something that you need to change after decorating your house and plopping down 100 sheep.

Well, please excuse my ignorance, I have done several searches on "Moving Crates" and I can't find an answer
Last night I made some revisions to my house, and backed up the changes. I had a Loom & spinning wheel that I had purchased earlier in the day, not for pennies either mind you *whew*, and upon backing up my changes, they *poofed*. Now I wanted to know, did they get moved to a "moving crate" and if so, WHERE Is this "Moving Crate" because I have no idea where it is, or where it could be.
As I said, please excuse my ignorance of this subject. I would appreciate any and all help on this.
Thank You!

Is there a reason it was changed so that committing moves all house items to the moving crate? I know on IN2 editing your house didn't effect the deco at all. It makes it really a pain to make changes when you've spent a lot of time on decorating.

No clue what server version IN2 ran, but this is not a change we have made ourselves. If it is a RunUO change, then I'm sure they've made it for a reason. I can right now figure out a few ways to bug abuse it if it wouldn't go to the crate.
