Your opinion on loots and monsters (help us!)

Killing 10 normal drags should give you a few weaps or ars, find it strange that it didn't drop. Might be so that the spawners need re-spawning (or a death) for them to activate the new loot system.

I'm not sure if the XDrag loot has been changed, I'd doubt that though. Weapons and armor would be the same on it.

Yeah I didn't touch Xtremes. I felt that considering the AR drops they were fine as is. Anyways, I just check loots on 100 dragons and its not exactly where I intended it to be but its not too far off at least. I will adjust it a tiny bit and I think it should be good after that.

Ok killed skeletal dragon, not sure if theres some other reason to hunt him but the loot was crap. Really tough to solo with the dispelling. Took about 10 mins to down him, 5 just wearing out his mana with bs's, then another 5 kiting him around and bowing him to death. 2k gp and some gems :/

Seeing how it was, its pretty good lol...

You dont go believe but they was the same thing before the loot change , and just droped 400/600 gold, same to shadow wyrm

I didn't realize they were that tough and I haven't fought one myself in ages. I will go over their strengths and abilities and see if I can balance it better.

Its actually a harder fight then Destard Guard, because you gotta drag the stupid thing through the desert out into the field to kite. I dunno if its worth the same as the DG, but definitely very close.

Unfortunately I think they are still waiting on the new server hardware. Theres a few things the staff are still wanting to resolve and tweak before they send out the emails anyway I think, so maybe the server taking a little longer isnt a bad thing Smile

But they might not quit if they would be playing already

I've been testing the drops on a bunch of monsters (sorry about the inherent vagueness) and I'm impressed. There are several monsters which drop reasonable amounts of gold that are reasonably hard to kill. It seems that the reward finally approaches the effort. Thumbs up on the changes.

The loots are much better then they were but theres still a few things that people have requested, like crystals or silver weaps. Or maybe small percentage random drops off any mob to spice up hunting a little. I dunno if its the same for other people, but when I go hunting, I know exactly what I'll end up with based on what I decide to hunt. Theres no suprise factor really. It just feels to me like the loots are sorta... well I guess boring a bit.

I'd like to see some interesting stuff dropping. Just as an example, maybe have every staff member make a deco item, and put those items into the monster loots at like a 1/500 chance for one to drop. Or have an ignot type that can only be obtained off monsters in dungeons at 1/100 chance or something. Or have something like magic jewelery or super rare drop misc items, maybe a special lantern or SE hat's or clothing. I dunno I'm rambling, these may be terrible ideas, but they are just to show what I'm talking about with mixing some new stuff into the loots so its not just the same old gold/gems/etc.

How bout making monsters in the newbie dungeon randomly drop things like A scroll pack, open it and it gives 500 MA scrolls for magery macro. Theres tons of cool helpful stuff which could be dropping and would really flush out loots and make hunting more entertaining.
