still that means the drop rate is fine, there is none today because people haven't been playing..

when there were 30 ppl there was a lot of xtreme around meaning a lot of people got xtreme parts from killing xtreme monters (mostly x-drags). personally the drop rate is fine imo

Only the last 1-2 weeks we've been under 30. Before that it was a solid 30-40 and sometimes during the day it was hitting 50 for a good while. Whats up with this recent low player count though? It's starting to bother me...

yeah you can get much more ingots to make armor much easier, good luck on training black smithy and not failing on the part of armor your creating

@playerbase its never been a solid 30-40 since ive come it was a solid 22-24 mid day peak if we were lucky we would hit 40 and we hit 50 only once you might of noticed that if you weren't macroing all the time once i left with luda to start playing cs gang and pedro left then it all started to fall apart that's what happens when players are not intertained and we said it would happen not my fault anymore

not to mention it doesn't look good when people check out our forums and they just see eighty swords posting nonstop in every section of the froums chill out with the threads man who cares about post count

I wasn't saying you should. I was saying in comparison you can get a VERY good set of armor from mining in much much less time.

You guys all perfectly illustrated my point for me. You can't get an Xtreme armor set in 1 day but you can get more then enough for 1 set of black diamond or black rock. For the odd occasion where you can use it that extra 12-15 AR isn't a deal breaker.

As for the time you put in to train bs & mining, you have to put in time to train pvm skills too such as provocation, peacemaking, etc all in addition to the basic skills like magery, combats, resting spells, etc.

I'm NOT saying you should be able to get an Xtreme armor set in 1 day, I'm saying that in about 30+ Xtreme monsters I've killed I only ever got 1 piece. Thats a 3% chance average. Seems very very low to me.

If you want to compare armors that you get by hunting and the ones that you get by crafting doesn't it make more sense to make comparison between equivalent ones? As in, it doesn't make sense to compare xtreme AR against the black diamond armor nor does it make sense to compare adaman set to hardening set when we are talking about how easy or hard they are to obtain.

That being said... Hardening is rather easy to obtain and it's equivalent in AR with black diamond set. Adamantium set is hard to obtain and has same AR as xtreme set. Adamantium set is a lot harder to obtain than xtreme but I guess that makes up for the fact that xtreme armor can't be repaired. In my opinion drop rates are fine and I think it was either Maka or Muto saying drop rates here are same as on XUO.

Smoke I get you don't like my suggestions, but think about who is doing more harm here; me making suggestions, or you hating on every one. You want to talk about new players and seeing me posting everywhere, well it's 10x worse to see someone hating on every suggestion brought up. That really discourages new players and other players from posting their opinions and suggestions just to see it shot down with 10 posts in a row saying 'you're dumb and a noob, so stfu'. Once again I'm trying to help and you're not. If you aren't going to constructively contribute to the thread please don't waste our time with your hate mail.

I'm satisfied with a 45-48 AR set considering the amount of time required. Maybe for me it's much less time gathering the ore compared to hunting since I can pay people to make the armor set, but still. Makes more sense for me personally to use a black diamond or blackrock set.

Once again though that's not (or not meant to be) the main focus of this thread. And it seems the intended main focus of slightly increasing drop rates isn't something everyone is in favor of so let's leave it as is I guess...

dude quit being a little baby and saying oh stop hating on me blah blah blah it's called balanace. Sure you can mine that ore but if you don't have blacksmithy which costs nearly over 3 mil tons of time to macro and not to mention the time it took to get the ingots good luck.

One of the reasons I brought this up was a little something called balance, not my personal greed. Let me explain what balance is to you. Balance mans if you make something so rare you can't ever complete it, that's not good. If you make it so common everyone has 10 of it that's not good either. Right now I find that Xtreme armor is a little towards the former; too rare. Therefore I posted asking for feedback on peoples opinion on this and not on what they think I do all day long or if they think I'm Mr Popular or a friendless nerd.

For the last 3 months before the summer started it was always at 30+ when i got on around 6-8pm. I'm sure a staff can find some numbers saying the player count back a little while ago.

I will agree with you that recently it has dropped to 20-. Not to hate on your suggestion since I really like it, but it seems the count started dropping around when we got the locations shown on the status page. Before then it was in the 30s when I got on. I also think we got on at different times a little over a month ago as you were still in school so you probably got on a little later and by then people from Europe logged off and the count dropped down. Maybe we play a different shard though lol...
