Id like to see leather ar have a higher med rate or stealth rate.
All you have to do is make it harder to get material for the higher end leather as it is for ingots. I don't remember leather armor having 50ar with out a shield.
To me a shield counts as plate therefore negating the bonus which seems like a tough thing to script. Maybe only add bonuses to the high end leather ?
I prefer the look of leather.
Guess its time to go check out the change log
(Only thing I saw in change log is)
Lowered armor for barbed, spines and horned leather
Exceptional crafted armor now give 4 extra AR instead of 8 (leather still gives 4 like before). Increased the armor values accordingly.
