I wouldn't call it much lower, you're (Lamby) selling exceptional barbed leather at the moment 50AR for 20k (which is fine, don't get me wrong), that's better than blackrock and almost as good as oceanic.

They are, if those arent made exceptional! You are comparing an exceptional set with a regular.. i would never use those armors regular... if you craft an exceptional mytheril set it gives you more ar than an exceptional barbed set... and i have around 4k mytheril ingots from gmzing mining! Those barbeds you have to hunt dragons to get them!

So leather armor should be superior to plate in every way? As has been mentioned in this thread, leather armor with 50 AR is only 20k on some vendors. That's extremely cheap compared to plate armor with that level of AR.

There are clearly ways to give everyone what they want. Make specific types of leather better for AR or provide less AR but meditation bonus. At the same time, if my guild RPs naked, should I get the full benefit or armor while being naked? That's a tongue in cheek example, but even so, you get the point. We will see what the armor changes are tonight as Taran mentioned.

That's ok to have a different leather armor for more medit... but about the rp the goblins are chaos.. they run around with leather which is weaker than mytheril! thats already an extremely high disadvantage! Allright they chose to be that way, but when they chose so the AR on leather was the way it is! and the proposition here is to increase medit on leather which doesnt affect pvp... and as i said before, once you have the money to make / buy mana pots you stop using medit.. at least i have stopped.
