Not to be mean or anything, but I really do not think you know what "original .51a" PvP is. The "original" PvP tends to be very colored by the servers you've played. If you actually ran and tweaked a default .51a server, you probably do.

Now on the dueling time note...

When me and Seer Hate/Ztoke used to duel, a normal duel would be 20-60 mins, that is long enough I think.

A normal duel between two good players tend to take about 10-20 mins.
A normal duel between one good and one average player takes about 5-10 mins.

These are just my perception of how long it takes, but I'd say they are quite accurate.

Firstly, dont pick sentences apart in quotes. I wrote original .51a with new armor and weapons.
I dont pretend to know everything that was changed or if there was any more than just that. I only played it(and loved it) i didnt create it.

Im not even sure why individual duel time came up. My point has all the way thru been that fake spell spamming is crap and that all the other changes to pvp are good. I like the way scrolls work and that it isnt possible to just spam GH scrolls and be able to survive a 2 v 1 fight easily.
I might be able to accept fakes but only if it is made quite obvious and given a timer of several seconds. Something like adding a sparkle effect on a player when he is casting a real spell would do. One could still time it to hit the fake spell button at the same time so that the enemy might get confused a bit but atleast the permanent button jamming .1 sec retard spamming would stop.
