Yea, honestly, I don't want to see an all-out nerf fest. It seems every time there is a way to do something easier than something else, even if by a little bit, it gets uber nerfed back to the point where it's useless. I know that things that have been reduced in value are being balanced back, but it's still a shame to see something get poofed altogether.
What should happen is, the durability of Xtreme gear should be slightly (not 50%) less than GM crafted items. Over time, it should decay from battle and not be repaired to it's original splendor (I'm sure this is already in place? ).
But, for a small fee, I'll be willing (as a GM smith) to do my best to get your Xtreme gear back to it's best brilliance! (Hey cmon, I gotta get a plug in somewhere ).
