nah, landlines are pretty cheap... like 30 or 40 $ a month depending on your plan and how much long distance calling you do. same with cell phones. we have pay as you go (you buy a card for like 5,10,20,50$ each month and use whatever amount). and then you got plans ranging from like 30-50$ plus any fees for talking outside of your plans, or going over your minutes, too many text messages etc.
