Yea all the people that START OUT will chill there to get used to PvP and confident. Then they will get tired of dueling for 10 gold and want to be able to actually get a good amount of gold or loot for PvP. I don't see what you are worried about, it's not like there is a whole lot of PvP going on otherwise besides tournys and the occasional gank.

And doing this will make it even worse. Give ppl the chance for risk free pvp and they will not step out of the box. Thats plain and simple. Might as well make this server a no reg server. People say it cost to much to pvp? then I guess you all need to learn to pvm before you pvp. or loot a few guild houses.

A place where people will go to just chill and pvp? Casino...
Implementing something like this would only benefit the shard by increasing the population of players who pvp.

Yes I have been here and been watching. And the casino has a risk from loot / 1k / 5k/ 10k not 10 gold plus you use your own stuff that you have to work for. Events is a total diff story.

More competent pvpers = more pvp
Its not even fun to fight in a box, but this style of pvp has so many intricacies, one is hard pressed to learn the nuances in the real world.
I pvp to take peoples items, and earn spoils. Neither of which can be achieved with this idea, but it will enable me, and others like me , to take the skills learned there out into the real world.

So then your issue with it is that it would go unregulated and people would just wait in line and pvp over and over and over non-stop and not do anything else. As I mentioned earlier this type of area could be regulated very easily so there's no reason for such a fear.

How could your regulate this? Make it where your only able to go in 5 times? And better yet who would even teaching? Take a random new player and throw them in with Vys or Habi or Depth and they would die in 7 secs. Then they would jump back in the box and die in 7 secs again. I still think people are better off joining a guild go to their HQ and get trained by the member. Since thats what guild is for any ways.

Regulating easy. Im sure a GM can come up with a more creative way but one way could be to only allowing access to the area at certain times per day. There's no need for a teacher. The point is to gain experience which would be done simply by fighting anyone and everyone you can. Don't be so limited by your imagination man this thing could really work well. Going to a guild to learn pvp isnt a good idea. First of all it doesn't address the cost of pvp, whatsmore is what guild who can pvp and has the ability to afford doing so wants to spend their time and money on training some noob up to the point where they can handle themselves in a 1vs1? The answer is not many.

What happen to the good ole part of UO where you work for what you got? Hand outs hand outs and more hand outs. Whats next are we gonna get paid 20k per .vote so it will help out new players / add more pop and higher vote? Can Lord British give us all welfare??? FREE INVUL ARMOR AND VANQ WEPS FOR ALL!!!
