Suggestion about Color Tubs / Color rides ect.
#49

I think they started binding to the bank towards the end because the GMs got tired of people complaining they lost theirs. For the most of IN they didn't bind tubs to the bank. I know mine wasn't. I think binding to the character is a good compromise though. People get to do what they wish with their tubs, but they can't give them away. I do wish we could have guild dye tub rooms though.

A problem that arises with binding tubs is that two people can't each contribute to buying a random tub. Because only one person will have access to it. I think tailoring rewards should be bound to character but tubs bought from the vendor which are random should allow anyone to dye from it.

I think a cool idea might be to have a group start up a dye shop where you pay to go inside and they allow you to dye one thing from their collection of tubs. Or maybe have a membership where you pay a one time fee to get access. It'd probably be really expensive to start up and the price would have to be expensive to make up for it. I think that'd be neat though.

So other people could use it?

Right now the decision has been made to let dye tubs be bound to the player, which disallows all use from other players. This can, and might, always be changed at a later stage if we see a reason to do so.

Yep, on IN1 if you left and stopped playing you could give your tub to a friend when you left. I don't necessarily think this should be allowed for the tailoring reward tubs, but I think it should be for tubs you buy.

Ok cool, I'm fine with this because I could still always dye something for someone if they needed me to...

Good job on this and thanks for all the discussion in general.

Hate Wrote:This is my personal opinion about this:

The most professional way for GMs to look is according to me like this:

Admins <- Pure black.

Devs <- Pure white.

GMs <- Red normal none rare color.

Seers <- Green, normal, none rare color.

Counselors <- Blue normal none rare color.

GMs using all these "player colors" or suiting with armors and stuff just isn't as professional as keeping it simple and professional. I think we should all use GM robes, and stick to professional colors, instead of trying to look "leet" with cool armors, weapons, and the best colors from the shard. It's easier for players to recognize whose an admin, dev, GM, Seer or counselor if we do it "my way".

Feel free to disagree, but I like it like this, I think INers should too since they are all against being a shard that tries to be "leet", but I dunno.

About rare dyetub-colors being "taken away" from players to make it more rare I'd say in that case, have them as prizes in really big tourneys or whatever, but don't reserve them for staffmembers, staffmembers do not need to look leet, we're leet enough just by being a GM according to me, at least from the players point of view Wink

I wouldn't put money on it. lol

You know I don't let people get away with cheating, and at IN:X the logs will be very very good, so there's almost impossible to cheat. However if we find somebody actually doing it I doubt Maka would let him/her stay, no matter who it is. I would personally get very upset if they let a cheater stay, but I doubt they will, we want a cheat-free server this time.

Most of the IN:R staffteam feels very mature, and none of the XUO staffmembers whose still around cheated during the time of XUO, so I doubt they will now either. Try not to worry, I'll keep an eye on them -.-

i dont see why black should be so special tbh, you see ppl in black all the time, big deal...i think having rare colors on in1 was a good thing but i think they should stay limited to the colors that were rare on in1... else we're (or should i say you, and me if i ever decide i want to play) all going to look dull and boring...

deamonsteel ride, pure black robe + farmer hat (oh god i miss that hat) ftw
