Just remove the pits and in its place have 67 spring dragons there. Have them set so they attack immediately (no invul!). I bet then people will realize "Wow, you know, the whole duel pits place where you don't die instantly wasn't so bad after all."

Yeah that 1v1 script is a sick script man, worked flawlessly as I remember it. and If we can implement that auto tournies, thats something we wont need staff for and staff can concentrate on other things but tournies, the more important things. The best shards are those with automated tournements, i've been on shards where all events are automated, and it gives free times to gm to answer pages and take care of results.

How did it work though? Was it a server script? Or did he have a script running on his own computer that made his staff character move people around, etc.

Anyway auto tours won't replace a GM. Of course it could be good and so on, but tours hosted by GM is always better. What if you weren't ready when the duel started, but opponent didn't care? In tournament rules on our pages it sais: "We want to make sure everyone is ready before fights are started". What if you and your opponent wants rematch ? GM can handle those situations, script won't... So if we can get something like that, it's all good, but GM's should still be hosting big tours with good prizes, or just when they have time/desire ofc;p

It wouldn't be hard to create a server sided script. But as Gang-Bang points out, a script can never replace a staffmember. In all events that I saw that are hosted by staffmembers. There was always someone that did not agree with all the actions that that particular staffmember took. If people don't even think that a staffmember can handle events, then what do you think that would happen with a script?

Besides, once the population grows with the new server. There will be enough happening there so you won't be bored
