I really prefer (as a random person) that meditation would be increased, if hunting is in such a bad shape that it needs a boost. That way not much else would be interfered, and you would still have the sneakiness (attacking at the right moment) part of world PvP.

I like the meditation increase idea since it would be useful for other things and would even cut some time off of GMing magery. ~_O

Keep the ideas flying. More opinions on how it should be changed for it to help hunting without changing PVP.

I'm for the meditation change since you can't meditate in PvP because you're combat flagged, and if you tab really fast to med, you're just wasting time and getting yourself killed. Hunting on the other hand gives you tons of chances to meditate.

Yea, improving active meditation could do the trick without altering PvP

I suppose the question is how much to raise it by. Right now, you can meditate once every 3 seconds or so to get 1 extra mana. If it were to be raised to 3, that's 1 mp/sec of meditation. Seems like a pretty good rate to me. With passive regeneration, it's 4mp/3sec.

I like idea about improving meditation rate.
Might be it could be done like this:
* when you are running or walking it works as it is for now
* when you are standing still lets say for 5 secs in a row, you start gaining more mana on ever use of skill
The good thing about altering meditation in my opinion is that anyone could use it not depending if they got resources to make or buy pots and it would help also at making scrolls.

Or, you could have it ramp up as it goes.
First 5 meds = 1 mana
Med 6-9 = 2 mana
med 10+ = 3 mana
I personally think that the key would be to make it in such a way so that you benefit in hunting, but not all that much in crafting. Just a little thing as tweaking meditation actually has a huge impact on the server.

A bow that drains MP from non-player mana users! ^_^
This server could use more bow-types anyway. I miss the old venomous bows that poisons the target.
Also, different log types to be able to make them.

Can you explain why it's going to take me a whole night of macroing to make 500 FS scrolls?

Other than making scrolls, how does medi have an effect on crafting?
