GMs???

Dramatic Wrote:you know what people? everytime me or silverwolf or some other guy come up with GREAT suggestions they are quickly turned down by mostly people who come from IN.I was planning to come back if the situation got better but seeing how the vast majority of the people thinks i just give up and all i got to say is ..WHATEVER ..just let the shard die cause it looks like thats what you all want.

bye bye

It's because they're pussies. They wouldn't last on a real PvP shard anyway, let alone here. They want some mystical calling inside a video game to make it fun. Role-playing is great- as in Final Fantasy games.

Lederoil drops like a ton of bricks so it really doesn't matter what he says.

I think if they want something infinitely hard, or so complex it's annoying, they should go to pay someone to play somewhere or start playing Q-bert.

IN was all about PvP, with extra depth, diverse pvp combined with light rp elements made it a damned immersive game.

you make some decent posts sometimes but these unfounded remarks just prove that alot of the time you dont have a clue what your talking about.
#15

It's not unfounded. I played there for a bit and then as with most games, they lose their flair.

I've had at least some experience, therefore you should have asked instead of assuming I had no experience there.

I rarely post a solidly backed opinion without some reference point to base it upon.

I don't like posts pertaining to RP when the shard's PvP was geared to a predominantly PvP crowd.

oh i know.. ive seen the signs.. and used them.. the thing is i was so far in the dungeon that i coudlnt find a way out to go rez.. and i used my stuck option 2 times which is only allowed with in a certain time frame... i dont have a problem with readin signs thats how a got as far as i did.. the thing is that once u get so far u cant get back to an ankh or rez spot to rez u have to teleport out.. and in my case the stuck option wasnt workin for me b/c i used it 2 times already

Lederoil Wrote:If you're out hunting, you're taking a risk. The risk is you may die and lose all your items. If you don't want to take this risk, then why do you even bother hunting?

first of all.. i dont care if i die.. or lose my loot... i just want a chance to be able to retrieve my items.. or if i get PKed or die from a NPC n someone else loots me.. then FINE... but the thing is.. i was hunting and got killed... and had no way to retrieve my items... now who would wanna go huntin if they didnt even have a chance???

if you played it cant have been for long, or maybe you just didnt get out of town, IN pretty much revolved around pvp and to dismiss us as carebear rpers without indepth knowledge is completely unnecessary and innapropriate.

people keep boxing us into groups from where we came from when it quite simply is more about who we are, people who ***** and cry, people who post their suggestions constructively and conduct themselves in good manner and people who accept the game for what it is.

who comes from where has no basis on anything at this point, were all stuck in the same boat so to speak (unless you jumped ship)

I assure you there is a way out from all rooms/points in that dungeon. So no matter where you die there is a way out.

and As said even if you page to be moved you wont be, there is a reason for the warnings at entrances to hard dungeons.

You probably shouldn't have Galens or Lindenwood leading the front of your image of Imagine Nation players if you want this box to be dismantled.

It's plain logic to know that not all players are like I described, however, the treatment from Galens, who did eventually apologize for, and in turn I apologize for going after him so vehemently, doesn't bode well for the reception and perception of people from IN.

Lindenwood just assumes the typical assault of calling someone stupid, misguided, or biased when he assumes all three as a chief subject of quite a few of his posts, a lot directed towards me. However, his animosity and my aggression towards him is our own beef based on the fact his expectations are often not met.

Those aside, you, Slaquer, all pose well-defined and thought out posts, mostly free of bias. I can say this because from what I've read meets all the criteria for people who've adapted, moved on from their previous steadfast convictions, and attempted to bond and associate with people of differing views.

I'm sorry for grouping everyone together, but they're the only ones posting, at least in such a high frequency, therefore I can't pick out people when it's more than one person from the same place. That makes a group and then I make a group stereotype.

The depth this game provides, the mystery, the techniques in player versus player, the ability to script and modify, and the motivation to play is different for everyone. I've noticed too many quick to shun either sides' ideas, and that's just sad but look at what it's doing. This is an old game that is running out of resources (players) and inspiration to play. That's why they keep progressing, making new patches, styles, and games. This shard was designed and agreed upon certain conditions and it seems no one wants to keep or acknowledge these.

That's what accepting the game for what it is is about, and judging from the shard's population, it seems many are. It's not what they expected, they're no good at the new things present, or they're wore out from the game.

No one is listening and no one is getting along. Gamemasters and players alike are letting the shard dissolve. It's the same with every server eventually.

You could point him a way out, describe how to get out, or simply infuse more res ankhs through out the dungeons. Risk is risk, but impossibility??

Look at the server count, there's your answer to that.

Agreed.

I came across several people stranded in an impossible situation.

I either teleported them to a random place in the world, or unlocked their boat if they were on an island with no way out.

Or for dungeons, I made sure there was a way out, and instead of telling them there was, I played the guessing game.

I would give them hints and they followed the clues to get out, and never had one player ***** at me for it.
#24

If they are in an impossible situation i will happily res them and tele them to a safe place. But Deceit isnt one of those impossible situations. Most of the time people are just to lazy.

The reason they never said or did anything... because you did all the work for them Wink

If your in a dungeon and are seriously stuck ill happily point you in the right direction but im not going to baby sit you all the way.
