I get tired reading complaints. I pray for PVP stays as it is and I will not defend it more because some IN guys and some new guys are too insistent complaining. I have not that much time to post every hour at every mad thread talking about PVP (or whatever).
I can´t believe all those people are complaining about a server they don´t own and trying to change it at all. Give GMs some peace. You are NOTHING. You are enjoying a game for free. Don´t stress GMs (people who work for you) with your cries ¬¬
I think everyone should adapt the server a little more.

Last I checked there is a suggestion section of the forums. Why is this? Oh I dont know, maybe to make suggestions... Yes there are a lot of complaints about PvP, why? Because not everyone wants to run around naked with scrolls and pots as described. I'm not saying the PvP system is horrible, but people are making simple suggestions as to modify the system.

We are something, we are players. Without players, there will be no server. The players vote, the players fill the server, inticing other players to come.

If you are tired of reading complaints, then don't read the forums. Once again, this is why the forums is here, to make suggestions, to push this server forward. You have people here from UOX, IN and other shards. It is difficult to please everyone, however there has to be a way to comprimise. The thing that I don't think people are getting is that many people like it here. People do not want to leave. There are tons of other shards out there, but people want to stay on this one. So of course suggestions are going to be made to help and hopefully makethe shard better and make it the place they wish to stay on.

Here are the problems that are not related to the PvP itself:

1) We were all put under the impression that if enough people (whether its a majority or even just a large group) believed a change needed to be made, that some change would be made to at least some degree. This issue, however, has probably the biggest gap in voters (only 30 percent voted to keep it the same), yet few to no changes will be made.

2) Us "INers" were promised that the entire world and "feel" would resemble IN, with a few bits here and there from XUO. However, that turned out to be very untrue, just because of some opinions that it should be changed. Again, if everything from IN gets to be changed based on opinion, then why not change the PvP, especially when a vast majory - almost a Super Majority - feels it should be?

Maka put a lot of effort into fixing PvP so it's balanced. Keeping the XUO pvp was part of the agreement when we merged XUO and INR.
So I can understand that he is away from the forums for a while when people complain about the PvP he put so much effort into and which he knows work the way he intended it to.

If it's flawed it will be looked into eventually, but give him a break for now. He doesn't even have his comp back yet but still he manages to be online and answer questions I have regarding scripting. And not to mention he's retired and doesn't even have to show up here, heh.

You claim to support the staff team and the original idea of the server, yet, every post you make, you complain. You made the "enlightening" poll about PvP and what to do to improve it, but you didn't even take the time to add any real suggestions. 2/3 of your suggestions have been announced to be implemented, the 3rd about the scrolls was pretty ****ing horrible and stupid. You didn't make that post to get the over all feel of the server, you made that post for the same reason you make every other post, to spread your tears. To me it seems like you are trying to force the administration into doing what you want, so that you get get it all your way, and you try to do it by being as annoying as possible on the forums.

So really, before you turn all innocent and go "I was just explaining bla bla", how about start contributing to the community, instead of ruining it. If your issue has been addressed, and if it has gotten attention and been confirmed, stop ****ing bringing it up. This server isn't all about little woody, who got unfairly treaded, cause magery was set to a more acceptable rate for newbies.

To me it doesn't really matter, but profanity does indeed help to describe what I think about you, no word like an emotional one. And I supported what was implied to be the original idea of the server. However, I have yet to see much that resembles what was implied. However, since you have read that poll, I am sure you can also see that more people voted in my favor that changes needed to be made. Not only was the number of people who agreed with all three suggestions greatest, but an even greater total percentage felt that some changes did need to be made. Also, judging by the few responses, those who agreed with my suggestions, agreed with the exact way I put it, and not some lesser variation.

I know they will be implemented. However, to what degree, we don't know. Secondly, according to the poll, half the shard is horrible and stupid for supporting that idea.

I KNOW the staff worked hard for this. I KNOW how shitty it is when you work hard for something and it seems unappreciated.

I am - well, most all of us are - just expressing our opinions on how we personally think the shard could be improved. Most of the opinions are purely based on personal preferences, and some are supplied with real examples. However, anyone with even a basic understanding of politics would agree that if the majority of a population wants change, then it would be reasonable to not only say that changes will be made, but also discuss to what degree will the items in question be changed.
