Anyways... due to the fact that I have the mentality of a 10 year old, I kind of like the pokemon idea

Make a new shrink pot that uses the bola ball itemid. When you unshrink the pet inside the ball it gives you a target to choose where to unshrink them and plays an animation. On location targeted, it will put an overhead message on you, fetching the pets name to result in saying, "Snorlax, I choose you!". As for the actual pets, I guess I could add like 20 different types or something. Would just have to figure out abilities for each and such though.
