There was 2 actually, one that made valorite granite only retrievable through the verite button (couldn't get verite out at all). The other was a bug that allowed you to use the box from the bank even if you weren't at the bank... If you find anything else wrong with it please let me know.

Silver weapon crystals give random awards and have no relation to what drops them. Besides that, silver weapons only do half damage to everything except for undead creatures like zombies and liches, so it isn't a big deal if there are a bunch of silver vanqs.
