Ok so, now I cant see custom houses and i crash when I get near them... cant see ships properly either. I ran the patcher in v6 and no change...

You said you patched to 6.0.14.4? I'm patched to 6.0.14.3 and I have little to no issues, just a few crashes here and there.

Well that was like 8 installs ago... now it's 6.0.14.3

:eek: crashed when i got near something that looked like several boats smashed together topped with a guild stone... and now when I attempt to logon it crashes right away.

Ok patched it with v7 which turns me naked and makes my horse disappear... however this way I could login and was able to teleport (because i couldnt run for some reason) away from the mutant boat house thing. Then repatched with v6 and recalled to town... lol

You need multi.mul and multi.idx and possibly tiledata.mul from here:

Did you download the UO from the FTP link or Fileplanet link?
I had more luck with fileplanet since it seem to be 2 different version of uo
