After many hours of messing with XMLSpawners, I finally came up with a system with a spawner triggering a spawner to trigger a spawner to spawn more spawners and then trigger another spawner.

Now that you have the slightest glimpse into my madness, here are some details of what this area is:

================================================

The Tomb of Kings is an area in the Britain cemetery where many leaders from cities around the world have been laid to rest over the years. Only the most heroic men and women are given tombs in this ancient vault.

However, one of the ancient lords, a necromancer in life, has somehow been reborn through means unknown to practitioners of modern magic. This reborn necromancer, corrupted by this malevolent force, seeks to reanimate other champions of ages past. We cannot let him muster an army!

The necromancer, once slain, lies in rest for seven days before being reborn again, so constant vigilance is essential. If you hear word of his resurrection, make haste to Britain's cemetery to help defeat him!

Be warned though, these ancient heroes are very powerful, and it would be advisable to bring allies!

================================================

OK, now that that's out of the way, here's the plain English:

The area is basically a Monster Bash, but the monsters are much harder.

The area is entirely automated, so no staff intervention is necessary.

Once triggered by a player, the Necromancer will spawn and summon a random hero.

A broadcast will be sent to everyone on the server when he spawns.

The broadcasts will continue for around 10 minutes afterward to attract helpers.

You have 2 days from this time to defeat them, which should be more than enough time.

A broadcast will also be sent when the area resets and the Necromancer is ready to be re-summoned.

This broadcast is much smaller and easier to miss.

The area has PVP, corpse cutting, and player looting turned OFF, just like in a normal Monster Bash.

AoE Effects are disables. (Earthquake, Chain Lightning, Meteor Swarm)

Marking and Recalling are disabled.

There is NO bank since it would effectively be a safe-bank.

A letter was extracted from its container after being found practically buried in the sand. The message was well worn but seemed to have a hint of magic protecting it from being damaged, though there was no clue as to how old it was. The letter says the following:

Days and days have passed and after a horrible storm we still have no idea where we are, totally lost in these lands. If anyone finds this letter, please send help! I fear it may be too late to save us but at the very least there is more here besides our lives that can be saved. I worry most about my companions as they seem to blame these happenings on me... if only I listened to their words and set out a few days later. They said it was far too easy to be lost in these lands. It is clear that they are slowly losing their minds and to make matters worse, monsters of some sort seem to be circling us now. Even though I send this message out, I feel all hope is lost. My crew will surely haunt our graves out of their pure hatred for me. Be wary if you come to our aid for it may be too late to save our bodies or souls but maybe there is something here worth the effort. The monsters are beginning to close in and I shall send this letter out before it is too late.

That is all that was written in the message. It seems after a bit of investigating that the writer could be a rich merchants guild leader as he has been missing for quite some time. However nobody seems to know where he left from or where he was headed. Surely there is some clue in his letter though.

A small underground passage has been found to be in existence somewhere in the world. While the doorway may be somewhat obvious, the location is not.

The location will remain a mystery for the time being as I wish to see some good old fashion adventuring take place. For the first person to find it and solve the riddle inside, a prize awaits. This will be a permanent addition to the world and the location will be revealed after someone finds it.

I will wait 24 hours before giving any real clues unless it is found before then, in which case the location will be made public. Though to give you all a chance at finding it...

The entrance is clear and rather obvious, the sky is viewable before entering. Somewhat guarded it may be and yet the path isn't very dangerous.

Good luck.

Clue: There are dirt paths that lead the way, figuring out which one is right could take all day. The wind here carries the stench of the undead, they lurk around their graves until forced into their eternal bed. Though you can barely see them you get a chill, going to the graveyard once was more then enough to get your fill.

Let's hope that helps a bit.

Next Clue: The dead are found to the east, as if the area you stand at is pointing towards it. Your travels have been dark and dangerous but as you come to the doorway the area can be bright and lit. With no clouds the sun above shines down, to the east you see pieces and pieces of a town.

I had a wondrous idea this year, to keep my Christmas tree outside so all could see. My plan was to decorate it and then move it to a prime location where everyone could see it in all its glory. However as soon as I finished it, I decided it was time for a little break and as I sat on my porch evil reindeer ran past swiping my ornaments!!! These were no ordinary reindeer, mainly because they are jerks, they seemed to have great speed and quite a bit of strength.

I wasn't too upset over this though, they only managed to get the lower ornaments. So the next day I decided to decorate the bottom half of the tree again but it turns out they had the same diabolical plan! This went on for about a week and now I am turning to you for help. The last of my ornaments have been stolen today and I need some retrieved.

In one week or so, I will award 3 people who bring me the most of my decorations back. Of course since they took more then I needed, they don't all have to be returned. Feel free to pocket a few for your own decorating as well. I estimate that 70 ornaments have been taken, so all who are interested get to searching! I think it will be impossible to find more then 10 a day though, which is why I will give everyone about a week to collect them. Chances are that the reindeer still have them but some may have dropped while they were running away.

Best of luck to all and have a Merry Christmas!

Wow, it turns out as I was writing this post a baby reindeer ran off with one of my other decorations! Now my door looks naked, my poor green door. I think I will move after the holidays... Bah if you get what the baby reindeer took you can have it! That just made me lose my Christmas spirit. Stupid wannabe deer...

Today we have added some classic quests along with something new. Some of you may be familiar with the Witch's Apprentice, Ambitious Solen Queen, Collector, and Naturalist quests. These quests are now up and running! Of course since we added the solen quests, the solen hives are now open as well.

For those who have not done these classic quests, take a few moments to try them out as they are quite fun and add something new to the game play.

First off the Witch's Apprentice Quest: This quest is to help a grumpy old hag retrieve her stolen recipes. However as the quest unfolds you find yourself doing more then you would have first assumed. The old hag seems to live in the wreckage of an old home. Doesn't seem to be too far from Britain either. I wonder what an old witch would offer as a reward?

Ambitious Solen Queen: One of the queens roaming the solen hives is trying to guarantee her promotion to matriarch in the near future. She is looking for someone who does not mind getting their hands dirty. Of course this could anger the beasts that live below. Will you take on such a risky task?

The Collector Quest: A short minded business man seems to have mistaken you as an old friend. He willingly offers you a job with the utmost trust, thinking that your history with him goes way back, though you just met him. He wants you to run just a few simple errands, nothing more then that... I promise? This confused old man is often spotted drinking away his time at his favorite inn.

The Naturalist Quest: A typical researcher of all things has set his focus on the solens lately. His interest peeked as he learned about how they breed. Now he needs someone brave enough to take on the task of doing his research for him in the dangerous underground solen hives. He seems like the type that may even reward you with a unique surprise.

Now for a new quest, The Quest of the Magical Sextant.
This quest starts off by finding an old sailor by the name of Finlor. It seems though he isn't quite the pirate he once was, he still is always lurking near towns with beautiful shorelines. As the quest starts off he explains of a mgic item he is willing to craft for you, a magical sextant. All he wants in return is a few simple seaworthy treasures, fair trade I'd say. Oh did I mention you will also have to find a few special ingredients so he can craft it for you? Im sure I did... Well as you travel on you will run into his old seafaring friends, each with something you need. Of course these men aren't always so generous as to hand over their treasures free of charge. Seems the pirate life pays well, so they do not gold but instead a few simple tasks here and there. Of course once your job is completely done you may need to take a nap before using your magical (and awesome) sextant.

I hope everyone has fun with these new additions to INX and there will be even more to come as time passes, so stay tuned!

Alright well I know it isn't Halloween just yet but I thought we could get ready for it now. I will give everyone a chance to prepare for the holiday with this quest by leaving it active for 3 weeks. On top of that, it will be repeatable every 8 hours. So if you like to collect unique little items, now is your chance!

The new quest I have added can be started on the Isle of Avatar and once completed you will be rewarded with a neat little Halloween decoration and maybe even a trick or treat as well!

Today marks a great day as we bring back a part of history.

Weapons of the old are returning in a new form. It will be your mission to search for guidance in crafting the best six we have to offer. On top of a short story, posted below, this topic we will provide additional clues to get you going.

Here are your clues, good luck!

Hell Halberd: In the west seas of the lost lands a fisherman has come across some trouble. Between his sunken boat and a stolen item, will anyone offer to help turn the tides for him?

Black Widow: Along an enormous mountain, in a hollow-like pathway, it is rumored that a new passage has opened. Rumors are beginning to spread of an old power that might just be waiting for those who dare to enter. Some poor mortals have attempted the journey, only to be lost forever.

Judgment Hammer: Deep within their fortress is where you must go. To seek the knowledge that only they know. The elves of frost strike fear in man. Judgement for evils will soon be at hand.

Dwarven Battle Axe: A dungeon that has never seen light, ancient arachnid-like creatures guard the way. A great evil has spawned there recently or maybe sent there to protect something. It may in fact hold a great treasure or even your future grave.

The lore of the Diamond Katana & Chu Ko Nu

Long, long ago two races existed in the lost lands of Sosaria. These races, though they exist no more, wielded great powers. The race known as Kentempai lived in a village now known as Delucia. The Kentempai were powerful warriors with the ability to focus their magic into their very weapons, inflicting mortal wounds with a single strike to the most powerful and feared creatures known to the world.

Their power had soon been known across the lands during these ancient times and it was not long before citizens of Britainia began to fear for their lives, even though the Kentempai had not meddled in the humans affairs. It did not take much time for the humans to decide that they needed to seal off the lost lands though. The greatest mages of the era were summoned to seal the paths to the lost lands to prevent this supposed threat from attacking them.

As chance would have it, the humans could not have been more right as they sensed impending doom. However they could not have known that the attack would geared towards another race, one of great peace and beauty.

The Pralious lived in harmony with nature and their surroundings. Though it would seem to outsiders that they were just simple bards, this race seemed to magic flowing through their veins, just as it is said to be with the elven race. They used their magical charm and magnificent voices to protect themselves from danger and even befriend ferocious creatures. Though they only used their magic in self defense, it was still well honed and ever growing within them.

The Kentempai were aware of this race, as they had been scouting the lands for a challenge to test their strength. They knew that the Pralious would never accept their challenge so they decided that the only way to get them to show their real power is to threaten their existence all together.

One night, during the darkest hour, three Kentempai warriors rushed into the village slaughtering all their creatures and immediately retreating as to not start their planned war just yet. It was simply to show the Pralious that their was indeed a threat and this was their warning to prepare.

The next day when the Pralious awoke from their huts, now known as Papau, they were filled with great sorrow. Their sorrow was not because of the threat but as they had never seen such evil in the world until now. They spent the day mourning the loss of their companions and holding tribute to the gods to guide the souls of the dead.

Upon nightfall they had gathered in the center of their city, circled around their village elder. The night was spent discussing the threat that hid in the shadows. Much was discussed and before day break they had reached a final decision. They were to eliminate this evil, even if it cost them their lives.

Days had passed and the Pralious were watching and waiting for their attackers to make another move. Of course they were unfamiliar with the tactics of war and knew that an attack may come that was unforeseen. As the Pralious prepared themselves and stayed on the defensive, the Kentempai were itchy to draw blood. Finally a time was decided, the next full moon would be the moment of attack.

The day had finally arrived and the Kentempai readied for a full out war to take place once the moon had reached its highest mark in the sky. As they marched onwards to the town in which the Pralious resided, their blood boiled with a joy. They eagerly awaited this night for some time, whether they lived or perished did not matter as they simply wanted to test their powers and skills.

The moon had reached its peak and the Kentempai rushed into the town with looks of great joy on their face. As they approached the center of town, slaughtering a few guards, they had seen they would indeed get their challenge. As each side focused their sight on one another, they all knew that this would be a battle of which none had ever seen. The Kentempai rushed towards the largest group of Pralious, all while focusing their magic into their weapons. The Pralious stood their ground, getting ready to cast spells of great power. As the two sides battled on through the night, both sides had seen many casualties but it appeared that the Kentempai were bound to win, despite the great powers of the Pralious. Foreseeing the loss, the elder pulled back and knew what must be done. He began to cast a great spell, a forbidden spell, that was unknown to either side. The battle almost paused briefly as a storm brewed above them, lightning striking all around the edge of the town. The elder continued to recite the magical words and as he neared the end of his lengthy spell, the ground began to shake. It was soon apparent to the Pralious what he was doing and they had just as quickly accepted their fate, knowing that they would all soon perish. With a final phrase from the elder's mouth, time slowed and a darkness of magic swallowed all life from the lost lands. The spell was that of unfathomable power and though it did not reach the lands of Britainia, it did however break the barrier spell that blocked the paths in.

The tale ends there, it is unknown what had happened to either race or even if the stories are true. All that is left are the stories that are passed about as listeners simply pay no mind, as a story such as this could only be a fairytale. Though to the few who do believe also know of another tale, a tale of a great treasure that each race possessed. If such rare artifacts do exist, the elder's spell could have sent the items anywhere with its enormous power. Of course during those times the lost lands were sealed away... if they exist they must still be in the lost lands somewhere.

Those who believe such tales should start their journey by searching the towns in the lost lands. If there are any clues, one would surely find them there.
