The server was moved from the US to Europe about 3-4 weeks ago so if you're from the US then you will experience more lag. Shouldn't be unplayable though, I think most players from the US have a ping of around 130-150. Try pinging game.in-uo.net and see what you get.

Galdor, what UO and client version are you running? Are you using Razor? If you crash a lot then that could mean some of your UO files are corrupt.

i dont have lag Wink
#6

well that explains it.. Im from Australia.. I knew it was something to do with the server.. I hover around 380 - 400.. all the time.. I ping it everytime I feel like playing and have never seen playable lag for me to bother hopping on..

Guess I'll hop on Rift :/

damn khal :/
#8

Gatin yeah, it's hosted at my place now but on a dedicated server.

Khal: Sad
#9

if i crash a lot should i reinstall my game? it really crashes when i open up a new window.
#10

Try this complete package with installer that Eru made first: http://in-uo.net/download/INSetup.exe
Extract/install that to a different folder and point Razor to that dir instead.

Do you have plans to switch the server back to the US?... Considering the majority of the playerbase is from the US and Oceanic region.. Or does it plan to stay permanently in Sweden?

Huge waste of training all my skills.. you can understand my frustration right? lol
#12

If we get enough donations to get a good dedicated server in the US for at least half a year then I might consider moving it again. But not at the moment, no.
The only reason it was moved to Sweden was that we didn't have enough money for the dedicated server in the US.
