Help IN Get More Dropbox Storage
#1

Moving this from the shoutbox

A lot of people are having problems with patching, then having the statics have problems after they patch.

To fix this, I'm wanting to create a fully-patched and working copy of UO that people can just download and unzip to their UO Directory, but we don't have enough space in the IN-UO dropbox to add it.

Here's how you can help us raise the amount of space (250MB per signup)
  • Go here: http://db.tt/HPWTi6r
  • Fill in the info for Create a Free Dropbox Account
  • Once the account is created, download the DropBox Client
  • Install the Client
  • Log into the client with the newly created account

That's it! You can keep using DropBox if you want, or you can just uninstall it after you're done.

Looks like that's enough space. Tongue Thanks everyone.

You can still do it if you want, I just need to reinstall UO and prepare a patched copy and stick it in there. I thought I already had one, but I can't find it now.

I'm uploading the file now. When it's done uploading, you can download it here:

http://in-uo.net/download/INSetup.exe

Also, I updated the Instructions here and added extra content to the how to join page:

Yeah, we have enough space for now. I left it open though because I still need to test the INSetup.exe file on a 32-bit system. I may need to end up recreating it for 32-bit systems, which means I'd need twice the storage.

If someone can let me know whether or not it's working on a 32-bit system, that'd be useful.

I have at my house:
2 Desktops with Win 7 64-bit
1 Desktop with Win Vista 64-bit
3 Laptops with Win 7 64-bit
1 Laptop with Ubuntu
1 Laptop with I don't know what because I can't find the power cord.

The plan was to find the power cord then set up on the crappy old laptop to test it. I couldn't find it for a while, but I found it a couple days ago and plan on trying it this weekend. Today's my last day at work. Tongue

You mean like... laptop cases and keyboards? I don't understand. I have those too.
