Are leather armor useless here?

I've never seen anyone without a full plate ar. in this shard..

In info->skills->tailoring I can't see the bonus of LA (if exist)

They are... since the server is sphere based there's no difference on leather armor and full plate but the AR they give..
So plate is better because it gives u more AR.

barbed/spined leather are alright. 40+ armor
