Maybe... but it seems he's using razor to mine.. so he would have to come and change the direction of his mining... also he has enabled the stock ore at feet option in razor... i believe he's doing this for skill only.. but whats he doing so he doesnt get caught? because you afk mine without being caught for a while.. but not forever and the gump has chance to appear when you target the pickaxe on the ground.

A better macro that I used for mning in abandoned caves will mine 9 tiles around you, then take 3 steps in whatever direction. After getting to x weight, it uses an organizer agent to move ores into a box. After taking steps to get to the next block of tiles, it will drag/drop the box to your feet. :]
