Are gains disabled on using verite to make daggers? Just spent about 2500 with no gains at all but when i switch to iron i get about 1 gain per 300 ingots.

Im fairly certain i got gains from using old copper, shadow and silver to make daggers. But thinking back im not even sure of that anymore since i would use 420 colored then smelt it into iron which i would make daggers from and that could have given me the gains.

and another thing on that why the hell smelting something doesn't give the corresponding color ingot? alchemy? that transforms everything to iron?

You gain from all ingots, its rep based. Just bad luck I would say.

Bad luck indeed. Had a 8000 ingot run with no gains at 73.2 :O
And yes all ingots give gains, ive just never had such long runs with none before
