I feel like the amount of "Colored Weapons" there are is pretty small, especially with melee weapons, and even more so with 2-handed melee weapons. There are no bardiche, spear, or staff types.
I was thinking since the Amethyst jewel is the only one that is unused in blacksmithing colored weapons, why not put them to use?
Exceptional Ultra Violet Spear crafted by Atlas
(Hues 2564 or 2565 would be perfect for this)
50 iron ingots
25 Amethyst ingots
10 Amethysts (jewel)
5 Reactive ingots
5 Glowing ingots
DPS (damage per second) would optimally be slightly more than the SDK since it's 2-handed. Less crits than the HH, but much faster.
Something along these lines
I also miss the Orb weapons, like many of us do (Firey Bow, Earth Spear (forgot the name), Thunder Mace, and the water orb one.
